Also pie I find your comment on Wii disc space odd. The Wii uses a standard DVD data size (4.7GB) for all it's single layer games and is capable of supporting dual layer discs as well (around 8.50GB I'd guess), plus World Tour has 86 full-length rock tracks ranging from an average from 4 to possibly 9 minutes, so I don't see how 50 one and a half minute songs can really fill a Wii disc. Sorry if I'm talking out my ass here, I just always thought that the lack of total songs on the Wii games equated to the same reason we Europeans had 30 total songs on our first two PS2 games: in other words Konami's laziness.
[/quote]
*shurgs* could be, it would certainly explain the US games, but it seems strange to do that for the Japanese games. I've always thought it odd that Konami has basically always stuck to a 50 or 51 tracks on the Wii games.
by the way...

Not a bad cover at all!

Am I the only one who wants to see a 2MB non-boss song?
Nope , a 2MB ORIGINAL song would be sweet though , as opposed to just a remix of a Naoki song :/.

And...song ranking update!
1. Butterfly (2008 X-Edit) / SMiLE.dk
2. Trickster / Nana Mizuki
3. DUB-I-DUB (2008 X-Edit) / SMiLE.dk

9. スキ*メロ / Yuki Ogura
10. GET UP 'N MOVE (2008 X-Edit) / S & K
11. MAX 300 / Ω
12. Flourish / sonic-coll. feat. frances maya
13. CHAOS / DE-SIRE Returns
14. DYNAMITE RAVE ("AIR" SPECIAL) / NAOKI
15. LOVING YOU (Epidemik remix) / TONI LEO
16. SUNKiSS DROP / jun with alison
17. S-A-G-A / Veeton
18. 旅人 / Satomi Takasugi
19. HANA RANMAN -Flowers- / TERRA
20. 世界は踊る / BREAKERZ
21.D2R ("FREEZE" SPECIAL) / NAOKI
22. Flight of the Phoenix / Jena Rose
23. DoLL / TERRA

Once again, all Japanese licenses appear in the top 20. The number of American licenses that appear in the top 30 is now down to a pitiful two. All (available) new SMiLE.dk songs made it in the top 10. Of the new KOs, only three make it in (Flight of the Phoenix, Flourish, and Dance Celebration), and the Wii songs are more popular than most of the new KOs.

I hope KONAMI, especially Stillwind Borenstein, takes a serious look at those rankings and notices that no, these commissions are not as popular as BEMANI originals. A paltry two of the commissions appear (Flourish is not commission). As expected, Japanese licenses are popular in Japan, but I also hope they see how popular the Dancemania revivals are, along with similar fare such as Koko Soko.

QFT. Once Blue Rain and the other konami crossovers come, I bet they'll be high up there, most being in the top 30 for a while...

Kind of want HHH songs to cross-over too but oh well.

Because people for some reason have this preconceived notion that "Ultramix artists" don't belong on "regular" DDR. The appeal of Dancemania and Japanese licenses don't go very deep, you know.Post #3180 · Posted at 2009-01-12 06:53:17am 16.9 years ago

Uh NO ONE, because it is still a very difficult song. Every SN2 machine in Japan should have this unlocked.
