I've been hearing this "bring a 20 already" for YEARS now and the best logic anyone can come up with is "oh well MAYBE it might be good you never know!!!". Like what? What evidence could you possibly have that would suggest that? The quality of charts above 17 is incredibly piss poor compared to everything below it, the amount of people even wanting hard stuff in the first place in DDR is a tiny tiny fraction of the actual customer base, konami themselves admitted in an interview they really do not understand why people actually want a 20 to be put in the game, etc.

Fuck off with your "oh you're just making fun of dumb kids online" high horse nonsense, I have thought about this for years every time this convo has been brought up and my answer is always the same: you're stupid and should put your efforts into asking for stuff that actually makes sense in the game instead of some asinine number quota that is at best clinging to some morbid hope that some magical chart labeled a 20 will be put in the game.

If what you mean by "what makes sense in the game" is anime-styled garbage never exceeding 13 and weak-ass "boss songs" that all sound like rejected Voltex songs that never exceed 17, then fine. It sure has taken a dark turn to get here.

Heh, over the winter I might try my hand at doing DDR edit charts for the 21 out of the 28 current 18-footer songs (everything except Anti-Matter, 888, EC, and the 4 19-footers' Expert charts) to make them not suck

I have a feeling I'm going to fail extremely quickly (either they'll stop being 18 or they'll be BS, just slightly different BS), but hey

Then I'll go for 3 out of the 4 19's

EDIT: Also, back to DDR A (which I'll note, as of lately, has been not terrible), Fungah! got 19 perfects in Triple Journey -TAG EDITION-:

Yeah...Egoism 440 isn't a very good chart, but it's still the best 19 we have. If you pay attention closely, it's riddled with ambiguous flow breaking patterns. It's very close to being a decent chart, just a few things need to be changed around.

OT: I wouldn't mind an Oni attack right about now. So many songs have yet potential to have their potential tapped They're of course not necessary but it would be cool.

The 32nds in the beginnng; you have to use the same foot to go from the 3-stream (whatever you call that) to the 5-stream but I think it fits the song there.
