• Don't like the song too much but it'll probably grow on me like almost every other DDR song.
• Chart's pretty good but definitely not a 16; I'd say Kouen is harder.

Song would be much better if it wasn't "EDM"(it would sound better if it was like eurobeat or trance but no one would in Japan would fucking care if it was), and had actual English vocals. 9female ones, preferrably)

FIFY. Like seriously, almost all his Mystic Moon songs are pretty good and are kind of EDM-ish. This song is not bad overall, but it didn't sound like an "extra stage song" (it would have been cool if they had added this song in the default list at the beginning)

Emera is... eh. Sounds more like an Extra Savior song than an Extra Exclusive. Very underwhelming. At least the chart is nice, maybe rated a bit too high.

tbh they sound more rave than edm, i don't hear much wub wub in his mystic moon songs from what i've heard


anyways,i hope they'll give us a more consistent songs schedule and weekly updates

ESP chart is pretty good for Emera. Definitely heavy on crossovers, which I'm feeling right at home with. DSP also looked pretty fun from the little I saw someone play of it.

About all I can say in regards to that. Alright addition to Extra Exclusive but I guess the only reason it feels lacking to me is because it came after Come To Life which alone is an amazing song.

Pon's original song debut on DDR

Once again Pon shows that he is just not a good singer.
A bit like a less annoying version of Howling...

Interesting song. Reminds me of Howling and PUNISHER. It'll probably be stuck in my head for days! The chart also looks quite challenging. What are the lyrics even saying, though?

I think it's pretty good. Certainly better than S!CK or bloody RISING FIRE HAWK (aka over-modulated kicks: THE SONG). I think it would've been better had the vocals been removed and there been some kind of synthesizer for the vocalists' melody instead, but oh well.

I like how everyone loves shit like S!CK yet hates this. Why? Is it because the WUBBYWUBWUBS aren't as loud and irritating in this song?

I just think that it's pretty underwhelming for being the new "boss" song. And also that, yeah, it probably would have been better if it were instrumental.

Literally all of the boss songs except maybe New Century have been underwhelming.

The problem would be that New Century was the first boss song and it was a 17. And then we thought that harder songs were to follow. I'll just stick with being happy with new content.

I don't mean chart-wise, I mean musical-wise. RISING FIRE HAWK was two 8-bar pieces of music that LED-G stretched out to be two minutes long (those being "KICK, KICK, KICK, KICK, KICK, KICK, KICK, KICK" and "DO DO, DODODO DO, DODODO DO, DODODO DO DO DO DO DO, DODODO DO, DODODO, DODODO DO DO DO"), S!CK was just a sludgy mess, Astrogazer is boring, Come to Life is "meh", sounds a lot like EMERA just not as creative with the melodies (and if I hear "DROP THE BASS" in any other DDR song I'll fucking vomit) and New Century is just "New Decade But Not As Energetic Or Difficult Or Anything Really".

Again, I don't get the hate for this. It's pretty good and that's saying a hell of a lot considering how lackluster DDR A currently is in terms of original content. And the vocals, while not great, certainly don't ruin the song. I mean, if you can tolerate S!CK's vocals or Come To Life's vocals, you can easily tolerate this.

They are two different genres of music and maybe people like drumstep more than EDM with incredibly overcut vocals?

I like Emera and usually like PON's vocals, but he may have gone overboard with splicing. If he chilled on that it would sound much more amazing.

Also I'll take more charts like this than them ever adding another 17+ and Challenge charts. So far none of the songs available really need a Challenge unless they decide to add some shock arrow charts or gimmicky charts to a few of them. Also after the 2014 Challenge charts that are only harder charts, I'll definitely pass on terrible chart additions.

To be fair, 16s and 17s are pretty hard. I would obviously like 18s and 19s on absolutely everything because I'm a nutter, but at least they're giving SOME challenge.

Prepare for a bunch of Challenge charts to be added to these songs some time next year, though. It is inevitable, mister Anderson.

I gave Emera a couple more listens and I just can't bring myself to like it very much. The vocals are weird, choppy, and you can barely tell what language the guy is speaking, plus he repeats the same stuff over and over again. I also don't like how it ends. It feels anticlimatic, but that could just be the cut from the full version if it has one.

My dislike for the song has nothing to do with its lack of wubwubs, as you see.
