ITG got killed by Konami in 2006.
That only strengthened the community.
(Also DDR was killed by Konami in 2002.)

unrelated:
does anyone know the official DDR / Bemani twitter handle? I know it's been linked to in this thread.

What I'd personally like to know is how much play DDR A is getting. I can agree with others that it's so far turning out to be a pretty good mix. Though my question is: Is it still getting attention in the arcades? Hopefully it'll make D&B consider dishing out more cabs (inwards preferrably, no love for a landlocked state) to other locations.

Houston machine has gotten about 4k credits so far
Although I'm curious about the casual audience for A
I see decent amount around here

I always see new people going up to the machines and trying it. I think they could reach more people for sure, but it's definitely getting some people into it (who weren't before).

I haven't been to Round 1 Concord in about 2 weeks (my eAmusement pass hand twitches) but the machine is always pretty lively whenever I go there

I'm not sure if anybody has done this or not but I decided to do some math for Ace pricing (probably varies by location). This is for D&B only.
I am using numbers from D&B's website and Nashville, TN D&B pricing (full price = 6.8 credits per game) for reference. Simply swap 6.8 with your machine's credit pricing and divide by the credit per $1 to get your exact pricing. You can also simply multiply by 0.5 to get the Wednesday pricing.
$5 = 24 / 4.8 per $1 = $1.42 per game.
$10 = 48 / 4.8 per $1 = $1.42 per game. Supercharged ($12) = 60 / 5 per $1 = $1.36 per game.
$20 = 100 / 5 per $1 = $1.36 per game. Supercharged ($23) = 125 / 5.43 per $1 = $1.25 per game.
$25 = 135 / 5.4 per $1 = $1.26 per game. Supercharged ($29) = 170 / 5.86 per $1 = $1.16 per game.
$35 = 200 / 5.71 per $1 = $1.19 per game. Supercharged ($40) = 250 / 6.25 per $1 = $1.09 per game.
$50 = 300 / 6 per $1 = $1.13 per game. Supercharged ($56) = 375 / 6.7 per $1 = $1.01 per game.
$75 = 550 / 7.33 per $1 = $0.93 per game.
$100 = 750 / 7.5 per $1 = $0.91 per game.
SPECIAL OFFERS
Buy $10 card get $10 card for free = 96 / 9.6 per $1 = $0.71 per game.
Buy $20 card get $20 card for free = 200 / 10 per $1 = $0.68 per game.
So obviously the best deal is the $100 game card (if you can afford it) with a value of 1.56x that of the $5 and $10 card. Supercharging is always better for your value than not super charging. If you cannot afford the $100 card then try to opt for the $75 with only a loss of $0.02 per game. If the special offers pop up, grab them. They are about a 1.3x better value than the $100 card or a 2.04x better value than the $5 card! Thanks DigitalBasic for correcting me on this.

Also you may be tempted to get the "Buy a $20 game card and get a free $20 game card!" offers. Don't buy these because they only give you 200 credits and as we can see you can get the same amount for $35 and save $5 or a supercharged $35 card and get an extra 50 credits.
...you are spending $20 to get $35 worth though. And that means 10 credits for a dollar, making each play $.68.

Since the Dave and Buster's reddit has figured out the pricing, and how to best go about it to a science, they would be your best option in determining what you should do for loading up your powercard. Those 20 for 20 coupons are worth using every time, however.

Do any of the other Dave and Busters not have free premium enabled? The San Diego one requires two credits for premium, but I know Orlando and some of the others don't.
Edit: If anyone knows how to go about changing that it would be much appreciated. I'm tired of paying double for extra stage

The DDR A machine at Irvine's Dave and Busters is also one of the machines with premium mode for no extra charge.
