After the first 10 measures I really wasn't sure how I wanted to go about things while keeping the technical flow. Would the chart have scored higher if the rolls weren't there?

Thanks for the feedback, though. If I make it to Round 2 (which I think is probable, but I can't count on it too much) I promise I'll submit something that doesn't go as berserk and chaotic as my file did here.

...okay. I guess in hindsight it could've be more at a 2 rating.

I appreciate the feedback you gave me, but can I just ask for advice on how can I make the patterning not... "Mediocre" like you said?

There's quite a bit of double-stepping throughout the file (less on Expert, mostly on the lower difficulties). Jump usage was really irritating any time you had something like L-R-[DR] or U-D-[LU]; that kind of pattern doesn't typically flow very well. (Telperion actually touches on both of these issues in his review as well).

In response to the two reviews so far, sure, a good portion of and some of are inspired by the PIU charts, but and below are for the most part completely original. This hasn't been brought up to me as a bad thing until now (or maybe it's just in the execution of this song in particular). I didn't want the chart to be nothing but 16th and 8th streams for two minutes straight, so I had to add some variety somehow, and the usage of jumps in PIU looked fun to me. It's a shame that Telperion only looked at (what seems to be) my worst chart, but it is what it is. I'll be more careful to consider what elements to "borrow" the next time I make one of these files.

BTW, my song for next round has not appeared in PIU, so look forward to that (if I make it past this round).

I'm confused, Gameoson completely dumps on the Brain Power file for the sync, while it's the one thing Telperion didn't really seem to have an issue with in the file...?

This paradox needs to be properly addressed, since there is at least one contestant (at the time of this post) that has submitted a file, but is under 20 points. It is not fair to them to not know whether or not to vote, and it especially isn't fair for their file to be DQ'd because of a lack of understanding. So we need a proper answer to this question.
