You and I both know I meant "end-mix", and in MAX 360's case it was a special anniversary boss song.

I still think POSSESSION (20th Anniversary Mix) was the first 18 from A20, because even though the song is from Ace the charts were the first level 18 charts given during A20's lifespan.

Also, I totally called it, however these 18s are extremely brutal.

No. You would only need to play a set number of rounds in SDVX to unlock the FLOOR INFECTION songs in DDR. Once you fill up the INFECTION LEVEL gauges for each song in SDVX, those will appear on the default songlist for the other game.

As for POLICY BREAK, it's not locked in PREMIUM PLAY, either. Just play 8 rounds of DDR then immediately play one game of SDVX to fill up the PB gauge in-game in order to unlock ENDYMION.

Well, that sucks, only exclusive to those who go to Round 1, and a shame too I might never get to play them, of course Stepmania exists but it just won't feel the same. Those Songs Are Freaking Bangers Though And I'll Never Play Them!

I have a suggestion: Why not just lend your e-amusement pass to a friend who plays SDVX often? Given that you'll only need to play 6 rounds of SDVX to unlock everything and the event lasts for 2 weeks, I think it could be possible for you and several others to do that.

Few problems though the D&B nearby that has A20 doesn't sell E-Amuse (Which of course means I'll have to order one online which could take half a month.), The R1 near me is 5 hours away which makes the whole thing not worth it for 3 songs, bangers or not. I also don't know many people from the rhythm game community around my area i guess my best bet is to hopefully play with an opponent who luckily has those 3 songs.

That expert chart is brutal. It looks like it on the edge between an 18 and a 19, especially with those fast 16th drills which are nearly as fast as Valkyrie Dimension's 480 bpm stream.

Compared to the other two songs, ΩVERSOUL ESP seems a bit under-stepped to me; it's as if they intentionally didn't want to fully step the main motif of the song until its last appearance (timestamp 1:38).

It gives me that feeling of "held back for the Challenge chart," but given that none of the Floor Infection Part 10 songs got Challenge charts, I don't think any of the current Floor Infection songs will, either.

The ocean themed songs were instant bangers when they came out.

The singles chart is one of my new favourite 18s. Love that they didn't flood it with stupid gimmicky nonsense and instead just allowed it to be a good mix of footspeed and technical charting.

I think a 19 for a crossover is possible at this point, given that every ESP 18 gets a CSP eventually (usually a 19 other than Prey) but also because this is A20, so a 20 is likely coming at some point this version. Once that 20 comes, 20s will be DDR originals but 19s become the new 18s and are fair game to be crossovers. A few 18s already are crossovers (Schroedinger's Cat comes to mind), so we see where we've come since Trigger was released as the first 18 way back when.

I think it'll be awhile before we see any Challenge charts added to the new Floor Infection songs (I don't expect it before they're made available by default, if ever). Heck, the previous two haven't had any Challenge charts added to them yet.

Anything could happen. They could have another challenge carnival event at some point

I believe it's still too early for crossovers to receive 19s. Crossovers are gaining 18s but that wasn't the case until about two mixes ago during DDR 2014. Also, even though Trigger was the first new 18 when it came out, the first 18s were technically released back in SuperNOVA, so there's still a huge gap of time in between the first 18 in history and the first crossover 18.

Mei is an 18 and it was from X2, but I agree. I doubt Konami will make a crossover song into a 19.

Floor Infection is such a dumb unlock system. Have an unlock period for just 3 weeks, and then keep the songs locked for everyone who missed it until the next cycle come around

I'm not sure how they would even go about adding challenge charts for these songs. They definitely wouldn't do a second floor infection just to add them... the only thing I could imagine is if they brought Extra Attack/Extra Savior back.

Totally forgot about Mei, but still, it wasn't really commonplace for crossovers to have 18s until recently.
