I swear, Nintendo must also be working with Betson...

Back on topic, I was playing Paranoia Survivor with a large 32-year old guy who's very good for his age/size, and during play, a screw flew off his pad. Neutral So I took it up to the counter, they made some obligatory "you're playing too hard lol" jokes, then the manager said "You know, Konami's going out of business." Laughing Out Loud And he was serious, too. Shows how much my arcade knows about DDR.

After explaining to him that Konami is in fact, staying in business, I told him about SuperNova2, and he said he'd be sure to get that. But I'm not expecting anything for a while since he pretty knows as much about SN2 as Betson right now. Annoyed

I was supposed to get Brawl for my B-day on 2/23, but I guess not now... maybe a Blueshark instead. (no complaints here! Green Grin) Anyone see those nice-looking pads advertised on bemanistyle's DDR forum? The cost isn't much of an issue for me right now, but I wanted to know if anyone who knows alot about these metal pads could tell me if they would be any good or not, as good as if not better than Blueshark, etc.

Well it's officially released, check bemanistyle.com for pictures and that.

First post updated to reflect the release.

Edit: Can I ask everyone to post EVERY minor change that happens on a machine that you find from now on as things like time-unlocks when a machine is in LOCAL MODE COULD happen. And any consequent software upgrades and stuff like that.

And make sure you state the location of each machine you find that is not already listed in the first post. Big Grin

Looks like e-Amuse is possibly optional! As people have stated on Bemanistyle, the machine is set to Local Mode, so hopefully we'll be able to add it soon! Minnesota's probably gonna have one of these soon, cuz when SN1 came out, our GameWorks got one right away. So I'm crossing my fingers!

With 33 songs listed in the SN2 section of the US version, it appears as though there isn't anything with respect to the boss songs or the Planet series... so again, barring time unlocks or an update disk, Betson strikes again...
Keep clear... fat man dancing! Seventeen stone and grooving with the best of them Smile

Local mode? Confused

Hmm... you have piqued my interest, Betson. Let us see what becomes of this.

Well I dont really like what Im reading about SN2 in NA so far. However, since paranoia hades and the planets were leaked at the location test (an american version), im gonna assume they plan to give it to us somehow.

They better...Evil

I, too, am curious as to what this "Local Mode" thing is. Maybe a new network to substitute e-amuse? Smile

And I say there's a bit of a chance that they might provide some manual update if SN2 doesn't have e-amuse or a substitute for it. It probably wouldn't be for that reason though. (that the content was leaked at Jersey Gardens) After all, there are videos, pictures, and music all over the internet from Japan's SN2, so Konami should know that we've seen the unlocks.

"Also when playing nonstops/oni courses, it asks for your name and state."

I wonder what that really means for us.

I'm thinking: scheduled internet ranking!
Check out my simfiles:
Pulsemix 1st Style (Currently being remastered)
Pulsemix 2nd Style (Complete, 25 songs)
Pulsemix 3rd Style (Ongoing, 19 songs)

I think this “Local Mode” is the US answer to e-Amuse. My only big problem is what if your arcade can’t get a Wi-Fi connection, are they screwed?Sad

hear's what bemanistyle says...

-There are 33 songs available in the Supernova 2 category.Neutral
-When pressing both left and right selection buttons, it brings up a category selection menu that lets you choose the sorting method.Mad
-There isn't a name entry for each single song like in DDRSN.EvilEvilEvilEvilEvil So far, there are no unlocks.
-To get the extra stage, you need to AA Unreal on any difficulty. You then proceed to play NGO on the difficulty you played Unreal on.Evil
-The machine is in "local" mode. No confirmation on e-Amuse or a different network system yet.
-Also when playing nonstops/oni courses, it asks for your name and state.

So can we say US got Snuff?

I think Bemanistyle is over boarding. It keeps reloading and never loads again. for me that is.Annoyed

What's probably going to happen: Betson will release an upgrade disc in a few months that will unlock all the hidden songs.

Maybe someone should e-mail Betson and ask about unlocks?
