I like how, if you download the song samples from the website, the name of the files seem te refer to the song title. Especially the tokyoEVOLVED remix, which is called laev_select. Could it be... L.A.EVOLVED?!

On DDR X EU, it'd be tootingEVOLVED.I wonder if they'll pull off a bronxEVOLVED on DDR X...

Hey, wouldn't song 4 be Your Angel? The DM Ashura and Kors K song?

Not 04. It's 42, I think.

Well we can hear the word Angel in song 4... But in terms of beat, song 42 makes more Sense(No pun intended) than 4 indeed...

Just noticed an interesting coincidence...
"777" is labeled as thr7_select.
Maybe thr8_select is "888"?
On another note,
I see a lot of people saying some negative things about Delta. Knowing what's gone on with the history of the song and a few other things, that's a little understandable. Certain things are misleading.
I'd like to back Ashura on a few things. Not only because he's a friend, but because I think this negative opinion on him needs to be at least dropped for long enough to see his new work.
First of all, the song itself. When it came to TGA, it was a HUGE work in progress. Remember when Saturn came to DDR? It was originally just a beta version. It got an updated song file later. Delta was a bit less evolved than Saturn, admittedly, but that was NOT the final version. The same go with the steps. They were experimental, not final.
When the song was getting leaked, Ashura was getting annoyed over it because this was sort of a goal he wanted to achieve. We all know he remixed a lot of MAX in the day, so wouldn't it make sense to try and get one, just one into the official game? With his reputation of making them in Stepmania, it would almost be expected.
Not only was that true, but the thing getting leaked was super basic. If you heard the song, you could sort of feel the aim of it, but the quality wasn't there. It was a work-in-progress. Compared to what we've heard in the preview clip of it, the song wasn't even half finished in quality last we saw it. The steps weren't final either at the time, and Ashura knew it. I'd assume showing them at TGA was sort of a way of seeing what people liked or dislike in boss songs.
I think I would be disappointed and get annoyed over this stuff being thrown out if I was him too.
The one other thing is, he's NOT a Stepmania artist anymore. He's grown in skill so much that he's almost a whole new artist. I've heard his ACen and San Japan performances, and even between the short time between those two performances, he jumped a few steps in skill. In complete honesty, I was a bit surprised when GO! got into DDR in the form it did, because it didn't feel complete in sound quality.
Now, hearing his sound quality, he sounds like a DDR artist, and I believe he is a DDR artist.
...and just to spite the jerkiest comment out there...
"How much did DM Ashura have to whine to get them to use Delta Max?"
Obviously not that much, since he showed it to Naoki, U1, and Stillwind last summer when he went to Japan and they all liked it and thought the BPM idea was cool.

I got nothing against the guy, I just don't like DeltaMAX that much. I like the idea, what he did with it and how well he managed to make the song speed up while preventing any kind of note syndrome in the chart. The song just didn't grab me though.
He's got my respect as a DDR artist, not as a Stepmania artist as I don't consider him one anymore. He's at the top now and because of that, I feel the need to scrutinize some of his songs as I am a consumer and entitled to my song preferences.
Right now, he's 0/2. I didn't like Go! either.
It's going to balance out as most boss songs work their way into my Favorites list. Chances are, I'll like DeltaMAX in the future. That preview right now is making me anxious to hear the entire thing. It sounds much better than the "Beta" version.
I would have preferred NeoMAX to DeltaMAX, even if it seems like PlutoMAX (Sounds ridiculous I know. NeoMAX came out first but as far as I'm concerned, Pluto is still first to make it into a game). If his goal was to get at least 1 MAX remix into a game, he got his wish. He now joins NAOKI, U1, and Jondi & Spesh as a MAX maker and THAT is quite a feat.
Who knows? NeoMAX might make it into HP3 or Uni4.

No clue... I remember him whining quite a bit about neoMAX, but I haven't heard much of Delta MAX other than the bootleg simfile from the machine at TGA...
Yeah. He pretty much bitched out the community saying that the leaking of that simfile ruined any and all chances with Konami. Thats why I asked ;)

Here, have a quote.
You guys have even more surprises coming your way.
I can't go into detail, but let's just say that some of the artists you know from IIDX have made songs exclusively for DDR Universe 3.
They're in these previews.
I wonder which ones...?

oh god I am so happy I have a 360 now.
Nice crossovers, even though 80% were songs I've stepped D:
Now Concertino in Blue AND The Least 100Sec are in almost every Bemani game.
And DeltaMAX and l.a.EVOLVED (definately) sound really cool to me. The DeltaMAX has definately improved since its "old" version. Probably why KOA took it this time. (hey, at least we got two songs they don't have now)
I wonder how KOA plans on adding multiple variations, if they do plan on it.

It's definitely L.A. Evolved since the songs are in alphabetical order. And 888 is like a hardcore 777 remix or something. And "sak2" (33) sounds like Ryu* remixed Sakura. And "insp" (18) might be Inspiration from the DDR X location test. Everything else was figured out.
I think some people need to give DM Ashura more credit. On one hand, he's a musician, so you can give him as much shit as you might give Naoki. It's fine by me if you're sick of Naoki's eurocheese or his MAX-style bullshit hard music. Because Naoki is so popular he gets some generic hate for doing what he does. But even though DM Ashura is kind of going down the same path, he doesn't deserve the same hate. (Not yet anyway.) He's worked hard and he's a professional now. Forum drama from when he was an amateur is like an old newspaper.
But if you're sick of MAX-style bullshit, good news! DM Ashura once said that Your Angel was inspired by heaven above. (Get it? Angel? Heaven?) I love that song and I knew I'd like Your Angel too.
(Disclaimer: I've met DM Ashura, but I don't know him and I haven't talked to him since meeting him. And I haven't heard Your Angel yet even though he's distributed the mp3 a bit.)
