I don't care about Dancemania licenses. What I want is more crossovers from other Bemani titles. Maybe they make up with Naoki and put in some of his and Jun's songs from CrossXBeats. More anime licenses. Revive Kind Lady

Sorry dude, but if Konami doesn’t care about Dancemania just like you, much less Konami will care about NAOKI, because HE WILL NEVER COME BACK! ANYMORE... and CxB is f****** dead at CAPCOM’s graveyard, get over!!

It's just my wishes but I think more crossovers would be nice for example old school beatmania songs like GENOSIDE, oratio, MENDES. cool songs from pop'n music (like over da moon or Hatcha mecha party), maybe some from MUSECA becaus that dead game have some great songs and.... SDVX, like come on is a popular game with great songs and remixes.

Dancemania's returd could be nostalgic but i prefer old CS songs returning like look the sky, midnite blaze, etc.

"Not a real DJ. I make music tho."
Speaking of Naoki and crossovers, I think 255 would be the best song we could wish to cater them both

255 should've been a DDR song to begin with (on a side note have they oficially revealed who 255 is?)

If we're talking about crossovers I'd love to see Rampage Rag, I really love the "chaotic" ragtime feel of the song. Though I'd rather have more original songs than crossovers, maybe it's just me but I feel A had more crossovers than DDR original songs that aren't licenses

I think you're right about this, actually. I hope this isn't the case with A20, and that we get a good amount of original songs off the bat as opposed to the 5 or so that A started with.

255's artist probably won't be revealed until the Rootage soundtrack comes out...

But I'm gonna guess it's either Ryu OR Ryu and DJ Yoshitaka
Because Ryu and DJ Yoshitaka recently made Coleur=Blanche under the #FFFFFF alias.
FF in hex = 255

idk tho lol

All of the licenses in Ace were better than PS3/360/Wii DanceDanceRevolution. That game needs to just be erased from existence. Over dramatic I know Tongue
how could you be so overdramatic over something so wrong?

Are you really gonna sit here and defend possibly the worst set of licenses ever released? I mean, autogen could've made better steps then Plastic Beach, I'm Yours, Dancing in the Street, Bad Romance, etc.

I could never defend that game even if I tried. I feel like it was a factor in the downfall of cs DDR.

I was so excited to see a ps3 ddr but my hopes were instantly shattered.

Thank goodness the Arcade scene has still been great!

I wouldn't even say "possibly." The terrible choice of tracks, in addition to their asinine charts, make that side of DDR 2010 pretty difficult to defend. It wouldn't be as bothersome if the unlock system didn't involve grinding through those songs and their terrible charts to unlock maybe three songs per 20 played.

pocket edition was much worse, it was unplayable and not even the soundtrack could save it and cemented ddr's death in the CS market and international market
DDR 2010 had weird choices of licenses for a game that was themed around dancing, but nevertheless, disregarding that factor, the songs themselves were very good
however, the charts were not very good and the PS3 version was a huge dissapointment for those that've been waiting for a proper upgrade to the PS2 games, especially what was teased beforehand (the E3 2009 trailer) (although the graphics were uncanny)

Wow lol, it's almost like you guys forgot about DDR Freedom.

That was a very bad era for DDR. If anything, things have gotten way better nowadays. The franchise has turned into a cult classic, can't beat that at this stage imo.

That was still better than Pocket Edition. At least DDR Freedom didn't last a week.

Pocket Edition had a neat idea, but bad execution.

You could make the argument that HP2 or the X2 CS licenses are equally as awful. HP2 had some cool stuff but it's like the step artists thought they were charting for pump or something

Is it just me or are they gonna rechart all the songs like they did it with the last REFLEC BEAT game?
