This is what I got. Exactly how you described it. The card looks good though. It's worth the $5 at Dave and Buster's.

Went to play A at time square today (with my uncle)
Mostly got C+ on two songs and a D while he got AA's. It was probably a bad choice to use max2 on ps2 for practice which might have screwed my timing
But overall had fun and got myself a e-muse card a bit too late

I'm glad you had fun since that is what matters most. You will probably get used to it soon enough!

This is what I did to my grey one, lol.
How'd you do that? Get a sticker printed somewhere or something like that?

How's playing DDR A at Dave & Buster's different from playing at Round 1 in terms of paying to play? (This is disregarding e-amusement pass prices, I don't think I'll buy one yet).

DDR A at San Diego D&B was 6.8 credits Standard Play, which is equivalent to $1.30 based on average chip pricing.

Round 1 charges 2 swipes for Premium play, which is equivalent to 2 x $1.50 = $3.00. Dave and Buster's is now setting the option in the operator settings which allows for 1 swipe Premium play. So essentially, it's the same price to play Normal or Premium, ~$1.50 (depending on how much you're paying for chips).
You can't play Premium without an eAmu. Tbh, I think it's totally useless to play DDR without an eAmu. You're also only given like 5 in game options, default RAINBOW noteskin, middle guidelines, and DARK screen filter (at least it was like this for 2014 without eAmu). For just 5 bucks (or 10 at R1), you get access to score tracking, more in game options, rivals, and Premium play events among other things. I think someone posted about this on the last page.

Yes, laminated too so it actually looks kinda legit, xD.

I am asking my Dave & Busters nearly everyday if they got the eAmusement cards and they seem to have no idea what I'm talking about! They asked me if I was talking about some Pump it Up card when I explained that this card tracked your DDR scores online. The people there have no clue and I am worried about whethr or not they will get the cards.

Pricing for D&B can vary depending on how much you take advantage of their offers. Become a rewards member and you can get some "Buy $20 get $20 free" coupons to use on days that aren't Wednesday (but you can use the tokens on Wednesday anyway). Get the D&B app and link your power card to it and you can get weekly deals of the same kind, effectively getting 200 tokens for $20 rather than 100 every week you want. That makes DDR under a dollar a play everyday that isn't Wednesday, with Wednesday making it even cheaper.Honestly, don't buy tokens without those offers unless there is something else to go alongside it (like July's $50 of tokens getting you weekdays until 6PM unlimited play). The offers just make it much more affordable to stack up some tokens and forget about them for a while.

So is e-amuse a one time payment ordeal, or is it a subscription-based thing? I may tag along with someone on a road trip to Dallas and we know for sure there's maybe like, five locations around that area with DDR A. I wasn't sure whether to buy an e-amuse card right away if DDR A will be a very limited experience for me, since I can't do a road trip every week.

Hawaii location delivery has been delayed until Tuesday according to Kevin.

For the basic e-amuse stuff (more modifiers, saving scores/options), it's a one time payment. For even more fancier features (EARLY/LATE timing is one example I can think of), that requires a subscription via PASELI.

the only thing you pay for with eamuse is the card, unless you choose to buy a basic subscription, which only applies to the japanese version of eamuse games and doesn't affect US DDR A at all

For D&B i got on there email list and get a "buy 20 dollars get 20 dollars free" coupon every 4 to 6 weeks (I print the coupon and redeem it). You get 200 credits for 20 dollars (so each dollar is essentially 10 credits). DDR cost 6.8 credits to play (3.4 on Wednesday) so it's a very good deal

This is not correct.
Basic Course is used to access paywalled features on the eAMUSEMENT Site. See http://p.eagate.573.jp/payment/lead_payment.html
"US DDR A" is still DanceDanceRevolution A.

I should have done this instead of buying credits recklessly.
Thanks for bringing it up.

No, even with a Japanese region KONAMI ID, you cannot use a US credit/debit card to buy PASELI. You must buy BitCash in the form of a redeemable code (from another site, like offgamers, as you'll run into the same issue if you try to buy BitCash from the official Japanese website), redeem it, and then you can buy your desired PASELI amount.
