DDR SuperNOVA2 (AC) Extra Information

So the artist name on the L'Amour et la Liberte remix wouldn't count, thereby putting you down two planets, and putting the whole Planet sequence in doubt.

Moonster is not a planet song and I don't consider Pluto Relinquish to be a planet song either. A song is not a planet song just because the name of the song has the name of a planet in it, or else songs like "sunshine" would be considered planet songs too. A song is considered to be a planet song if it's included in the Grand Cross courses:

And seeing as how each song corresponds to a planet (+ sun) in order, it makes perfect sense. Therefore, L'amour et la liberte and STARS are also the Mercury and Earth songs, even though the planet names are in the artist names and not the song names.

I thought Pluto (expert) was a 9 and not an 8.

In any case, I'm disappointed with Konami for, first of all, leaking out the planet songs to the US and then revoking it, and then not putting any of them in the NA CS.

Well, except for STARS if you wanna consider that a planet song... (it sort of counts as Earth according to the Grand Cross oni courses)

It further annoys me that Konami decided that, "OMG WE WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO LEAK PLANET SONGS TO STUPID AMERICANS. BUT LET'S GIVE THEM PITY AND GIVE THEM ONE SONG, AND PUT ONE OF THEM AS BACKROUND MUSIC FOR HYPER MASTER. *randomly picks one* OH, LET'S GIVE THEM POSEIDON."

I'm not so much mad at Konami for accidentally leaking the songs, since every company makes mistakes. I'm not even mad at Konami for not including them in SN2 CS because they wanted to keep the songs hidden. I'm mad at SN2 CS because it's inappropriately named, a mix that tries to be SN2 but fails utterly. If they had named it something else and just make it a catch-up mix I wouldn't have been so disappointed with it.

You know, I wonder if I can write to Konami about how disappointed I am with the game. (Still planning on keeping the game, but I do need to let someone know about my disappointment, yes?)

But I guess it's more because they named it SuperNOVA 2 when it really didn't feel like it. Back when they had the survey, I remember filling it out (since I'm quite inclined on the Japanese language though not close to being fluent) and asking for all 3 CaptivAte songs, and I'm glad one of them made it in. (Chikai, plus I just wanted more DJ YOSHITAKA in DDR)

So maybe they'll look at it at least? What do you guys think about me sending them a formal letter?

ohh yeah another kuestion and i don;t if this is the place to ask it but here it goes: u know how people get the mp3's of all the songs from the ps2 dvd well is there anyway that they can rip poseidon out of it coz i've heard that it is on the hyper master mode credits right???

What makes you think that? It's not in the Grand Cross Courses. It's not even a SuperNova 2 song. It debuted in SuperNova CS JP.

So do you guys think that e-Amuse is the only way they'll do unlocks for this game, too? I mean... I don't see why we (us stupid Americans) still don't have this game. Maybe they're waiting for everything to be unlocked first or something dumb like that.

Then again, I hate this waiting game that Konami is making us play.

Maybe because this is the 10th DDR machine, they're trying to do something special which is why they're making us wait so long?

FYI, I do not believe Moonster is a planet song. It is not new to DDR (previously on DDR SN JP CS) and the only planet songs that count are songs new to DDR. Specifically, songs in the Grand Cross courses (both Silver and Gold).

Well, if this really is getting pushed back to '08, we better be getting some cool extras or something.

Also, some kind of offline method of unlock would be nice. I'm willing to bet that a majority of the arcades in America won't get e-Amuse. At least not right away.

if you paid attention in science class, you know that an object that orbits a planet is a satellite. other planets have multiple satellites, with names. the earth's satellite is called the moon.

This is the cut version of Poseidon from the credits of DDR SuperNOVA2 Thanks to al2k4 for assistance with the rip! Anyways, I can try to make a full version using the cut version here, as it has all the melodies (for lack of a better word) from the full version, it's just been slightly cut. I would use the song found in the video posted from the location test. If anyone's interested, I could start.
