With the 1,000,000 user simfiles on the site (/s), it would be nice to be able to search for songs by some other way besides song name and artist name. I think the addition of tags or hashtags would go a long way. Maybe even also a way to search by Category names too.
I see a lot of requests on the StepMania subreddit for songs that are already available on this site, but people either don’t know to look here or are having a hard time finding exactly what they want.
Just a thought. But I think it would help.

I've always thought it would be nice to have hashtags, especially when trying to find songs from specific games or music genres.

I'd like it if we could search by simfile author, because some people don't have their own centralized category but have participated in various simfile contests.
