MAX 300 Quad on AC
Wow. Does anyone know how they did this? Not actually passing the song, but connecting the two cabinets together. Or is he just hopping from one machine to the next before the other one fails him. And the cabinet on the left has a marquee that I have never seen before. Can anyone tell me what game that is?

If you look really closely, you can see that both screens are exactly the same. I'm thinking he somehow got all four pads to register as input and he's just playing the doubles chart on ONE of the machines but with four pads.
Not 100% sure on this though; but officially there is NO way to get a mode on the machine that uses more than two pads.

Just look at the pads. The pads being pressed on one light up for the other as well. So yeah, both pads are hooked up to both machines.

The one on the left is definitely hacked. There's no way DDR True Kiss Destination would have MAX 300 on it...

But, it's a quad chart. If you notice, there's one part where he's stepping between the middle two pads and on both screens you can see a a roll with the left arrow on the left pad, and the right arrow on the right pad. So, they've got to be hacked or using stepmania.

Yeah, watching the video again I think you are probably right. That would be awesome to be able to connect two machines together, because not only would you be able to play quads, but also doubles versus!

i've played max300 doubles more times than i can count, thats NOT a quad chart >_>
look at it, BOTH SCREENS DISPLAY THE DOUBLES CHART. the pads are some how connected, and the monitors are some how connected, he is just picking some of the spots where P2 transitions to P1and going right instead of left to do it, and he is pick P1 to P2 transistions and going left instead of right to do it.
it takes some talent to do that, but its not a quad chart. if it was a quad chart it wouldnt display 2 pads per screen like that either. people have altered stepmania to support UM features like quad and 3/4 person multi-player. check stepmania.com's forums for stuff about it. quad mode displays all 4 pads on one screen with a percentage of mini applied to the arrows just like it does on UM2-4. sorry to disappoint you, but its not quad.
