Been a week where I haven't been really motivated to make anything but still felt like I wanted to contribute something this week. Since I am guaranteed into VIP I decided to experiment a bit more.

Finally, something that is not a 9-footer for once.
From the "Cookie Rhythm OvenBeats" series by Eezy Seven, inspired by the Cookie Run OvenBreak mobile game series.
This song is based on the "Apple Cookie" character. She isn't in the current Cookie Run game but she's really adorable. She is a toddler who loves having fun with balloons and bubbles.
I actually drew these graphics myself. Apple Cookie and her humanization are in the Pop'n Music Peace art style.
Funnily enough, today happens to be the 1-year anniversary of when I first started playing Cookie Run, and the 10-year anniversary of the series as a whole (including the original OvenBreak games) is this Tuesday.
So I guess you can say this is kinda how I'm celebrating in a way.

Hey everyone, a little over an hour left to get Week 4 votes and Week 5 submissions in. Make sure to get everything in on time!
We allowed for 01angel's file to be included even though it was crunch time on the upload, since it was an understandable predicament and people had started voting for it anyway--but that's the only time we're allowing that! Allow enough time to properly send your stuff, as we'll be pretty strict about this from here on out.

From Amuro Namie's 2009 album, "PAST < FUTURE". Released as a double A-side single with "WILD", which is where this jacket art is from. I discovered this by basically looking all over for songs produced by Nao'ymt (after basically coming to like this guy's work after Daichi Miura's "Kyuutai (Sphere)" album). A fairly heavily electronic song with lyrics about time travel. This file was supposed to include a chart using SM5 features that is "time-shifted", as in, using the re-arranged and re-recorded version from the 2017 compilation album "Finally", but was cut due to time constraints.
We return to change your past.
We hope for the future at which you are laughing.
Have a good future.

So the theme for round 6 is...
[Prime Time]
For this round, the song that you step must have a BPM that ends in a 1, 3, 7, or 9. So any prime number BPM (greater than 5) is certainly valid, but others like 143 and 119 are also allowed.
If the BPM in question is not a whole number, you can round it to the nearest whole number. Special case: if the BPM ends with a decimal between 0.4 and 0.6 (exclusive) I'll allow it regardless of the actual number.
If your song has BPM changes, then the BPM must satisfy this requirement for at least half of the songs duration. Ex: 50 seconds at 74.5 BPM, 20 seconds at 149 BPM, and 60 seconds at 298 BPM. Since both 74.5 and 149 BPM work, and 70 seconds is more than half of the songs duration, it's allowed.
Examples of qualifying BPMs: 71, 333, 158.7, 124.45
Examples of non-qualifying BPMs: 150, 128.3, 66, 115
Hope this makes sense! If you have a question regarding if a certain song qualifies, then send me the sm with the BPM changes and I'll let you know if it does.
Also, if you think the theme is too confusing, just step a song that is a constant integer BPM (or really close to one) that is odd and does not end in 5. Everything else is just a special case to make it easier to qualify.

At first, I thought "Wouldn't it be easier to just have the BPM itself be prime?", but maybe that would be too restrictive?
Regardless, I have a few WIP files that actually do have prime BPMs, so hopefully, I'll be able to finish one of them this week.

Yeah, that was my main intention. Also, most people don't know all of the primes from 50 to 240 from memory, so having to cross-reference all the time would be annoying.

hey guys, I found a site where you can import your spotify playlists to look at the songs' BPMs if you want to use it for this theme: http://sortyourmusic.playlistmachinery.com

If anybody's wondering my motivation behind the theme, it's that an overwhelming majority of song BPMs are even, and even then, a majority of the odd BPMs end with a 5. So I'm trying to encourage people to step a song with a BPM that is rarer to see.

I was still DQ’d anyway. I had no time to vote because of my math final. :/We allowed for 01angel's file to be included even though it was crunch time on the upload, since it was an understandable predicament and people had started voting for it anyway--but that's the only time we're allowing that! But 333 can be divided by 3 and 111, so does a number like 129 count?

If anybody's curious what I would have voted for:
+5 Pretty Baby [ledgam3r1279]
+4 Addicted to You [UNDERWATER MIX] [DDRDAIKENKAI]
+3 Together Forever (The Cyber Pet Song) [brunobg24]
+1 Iguana [TikalFan9000]
+1 Revolution 909 [djVERTICAI]
+1 UPSIDE DOWN (DVE MIX) [VanEden]
The BPM doesn't literally have to be a prime number, that would make the theme way too restrictive. As long as it ends in 1, 3, 7, or 9, you're good.

Gameoson is right. To add to that, imagine you found a song with a BPM like 119, 143, 161, or 187 and decided to step the song without actually checking to see if the BPM was prime. Then you submit it, and someone points out that 161 is actually 7 x 23, and you get DQed. Sad reacts.
So that's another crucial reason why I wanted to make this theme as inclusive as I could while still keeping the feel of prime BPMs.
