The difficulty of getting multiple evolution items is criminal in Sun/Moon. ._.; Would like to shiny chain except no Razor Claw or second King's Rock has come my way. Other than getting a Weavile, 'dex is rather fun to fill, at least with the opposite version nearby.

yeah item bs was pretty brutal but yeah it was pretty fun getting the 301 dex

That Usain Bolt commercial is pretty neat. I wouldn't mind other celebrity cameos, either. John Cena did some shoots for the Nintendo Switch, and I think some popular Football players were used to advertise the Sun & Moon block of the Pokemon Trading Card Game. That's always cool, so long as it isn't being cringey or overly mainstream.

99.9% confident that Sinnoh remakes will be confirmed but I also don't want to get my hopes up. I'd be happy with a SuMo sequel or something else entirely.
If there is a new main series game coming out, I have a good feeling it will still be on 3DS. Game Freak has never made a system jump except between generations, and if there is going to be a Pokemon game on the Switch, it won't be for a while.

Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon? I'm assuming those are the 3rd version remakes. Looks like they're doing another Gen 5, hope this doesn't mean we don't get Sinnoh remakes... It's admittedly better than tacking a 2 onto them. I'm betting Ultra Beasts are going to play a bigger role in this one.

I'm not sure how I feel about the new games. I'd rather get direct sequels along the lines of Black 2 and White 2 instead of an updated rerelease like in Platinum, Crystal, etc. From the looks of it, it appears that the plot will be more or less the same with some slight differences, and I don't know if I want to buy the same game a second time. (Although, I guess I could just get the opposite version--Ultra Sun this time instead of Moon.) Eh, it's probably best to hold off judgement until more information is released.

I never expected Sinnoh remakes, i for one think the Ultra versions are going to have different protagonists. And i love me some more pokken. (i just hope they balance some stuff out)

Same here. I did not even expect something like a Switch mainline Pokemon game but it is still a bit dissapointing.Yes for Pokken though, I did not get the original for Wii U so this will be nice when I get a Switch by holidays.
