Which do you favor more?
I like Windows a bit more, but Apple isn't too bad.

I think that's true, but Windows is more compatible with stuff than Mac.Post #5 · Posted at 2008-12-31 10:59:30am 15.7 years ago

This. As much as I love my Macbook and how lightning fast it is, Windows is still pretty good for running your other programs and downloading torre... err, LEGAL MUSIC FILES.

GNU/Linux. Because I don't have to worry about stuff randomly breaking while I'm playing it, or the OS sending my info back to its evil master.
I bought the hardware, I decide what it does. Not MS, not Apple.

The only reason why they don't get much viruses is because hackers don't bother designing viruses that effect Mac's because not many people own Mac's. It makes sense because since a hacker wants to get the most computers affected with the virus as possible, he targets the type of computer that is most commonly used. Which is obviously Windows. I just don't like how Apple always advertises that all the time. Their operating system can be just as vulnerable as Windows. Post #11 · Posted at 2008-12-31 12:31:30pm 15.7 years ago

Windows FTW. We have macs in my school but they freeze and crash a lot. It's even on the "ahem" awesome new Leopard OS. Yeah...I like Windows.

I'll have to go with Windows as well. It works with all the stuff I want. Macs do not. I also think their interface doesn't look that nice...

Damn. Stole my idea.
I'm too used to Windows-based PCs but...considering that there's been a turn-around in terms of Apple being able to emulate Windows via Parallels effectively, I'd almost have to say that it's about equal on the playing field anymore.
But I'd rather stick by Microsoft-based products since that is all I really know from DOS 3.3 and Windows/286 (2.0) on up towards today. Linux I have a smidgen of experience with and not a whole bunch in the commandline...

They're basically the same, except Macs still don't have two mouse buttons for some godforsaken reason.
