DIF seems fine as a 15, at the very least it's a hard 14. EXP is potentially a very high 16, but there's a lot happening and on a first playthrough it would be more like a 17 than anything. Both of these are more difficult than they look.

I'm actually surprised we made it a full day with out at least 3 people referring to the new song as a "Banger".
I don't know where that phrase originated, but its already extremely cliche.

I usually worship at the altar of Sota but this track is kind of a mess. There is a lot of dead air in the beginning and the middle that is exacerbated by how overcharted these sections are on . I shouldn't complain, though, because it is still a decent track and I am grateful that the DDR scene is alive and still receiving new content. Besides, it's not like I'll ever get a chance to play A20 at all, anyway, so my input is as invalid as possible.
I also thought the switching of the "D-D-R" sample to "D-R-D" right before the 30(?) BPM slowdown was kind of cute. I like to think it is a reference to Dr. D, but I am probably wrong.

I was just recently listening to the Max 2 Megamix, and suddenly remembered how much I used to like Samba De Janiero. That would be a pretty epic Legendary Licence, especially if they could get Ryu on that. He has had some success with the samba genre.

Especially when you consider that every time this song appears in BEMANI, it instantly vanishes in the next version, whether it is the Solo BASS MIX version, the one from IIDX, or TRANCE DE JANEIRO.

I absolutely agree though, it would a be really cool 20th anniversary song, but I think it is very unlikely unfortunately. There are many other licenses that are way more known in DDR, songs like butterfly, SO DEEP, IF YOU WERE HERE or LITTLE BITCH are way more likely IMO.

Technically the one by BASS FIST! wasn't removed since it appeared in Solo 2000 as well, but I see your point.

Tbh if I had to choose a song form the Solo series I'd probably pick Kiss Me or I Don't Want to Miss a Thing, I really think there should be a song that's roughly 170bpm. Side note, but I find really interesting how none of the three current covers were made by an in-house artist

a20 only has like 2 KOs done by in-house artists (bemani-wide songs do not count so don't @ me with the 50th memorial songs, hinabitter, and some other songs)
also solo is obscure also consider how players did not want SOLO stepcharts in 5th mix yes solo stepcharts were to be in 5th mix but they got cut

Geez just imagine how ENDYMION would be if the game had 6 panels instead of just 4. Maybe they'd even include doubles and make it a 12 panel mode. It's crazy how forgotten the series is, Konami hasn't even included the noteskin for some reason, even though there was a Note version of it in Extra Mix

Frankly, I don't think that will ever happen since MAX 2 already had a song representing that series, Long Train Runnin', same with 1st mix with Have You Never Been Mellow, so Trance De Janeiro and LITTLE BITCH are out. Let's just see what mix they will represent next and see if they have a pattern. Maybe MAX or 2ndMIX will be next.

Also, it's been 3 months since we've had our only EXTRA EXCLUSIVE song with ORCA. When's the next one gonna be? It's like the Golden League songs are substituting for it.

i'm going to start my really long (realistic) list of predictions here: we probably might get a remix cover that might also be from 1st, max2 or extreme since there's no obvious pattern in what and how these songs get added besides how all of the songs (so far) that were added appeared in US CS releases, and none of them are borrowed from other BEMANI series (recent covers fyi, so no one cares about the covers from games released many moons ago and they will never be borrowed again nowadays anyways) but still:
