The alpha version of ~GOLD EDIT~ has been released!
(I recommend double checking your options and turning on high res graphics as well as maybe lowering the song background brightness.)

Hey pupsi! Thank you for the alpha release.
It's the most beautiful DDR-based theme I've seen.

This is not a complaint, just feedback.
- Score screen's judgement names don't match gameplay screen's judgement names
- Song select screen is missing the up+down folder close shortcut
- Many screens have a "lua references file, but there are multiple matches" popup
- It's difficult to tell the difference between a song jacket and folder jacket
- Leaderboard high score names don't use "maxwidth", allowing them to clip into scores
- Full combo graphics at end of gameplay seem out of place with the theme aesthetic
- This one is personal preference, but M mods are preferable to X mods

Your bug feedback is actually really helpful and I'll be sure to follow up on that entire list. I need to test more uncommon scenarios like having a long profile name- which I actually just fixed! Though I need to check the results screen too.



Now that the holiday season is more or less over, I can get back to work.

I know what the issue is with the multiple references at Title Screen. The Lua script in \BGAnimations\ScreenLogo decorations\Default.lua and \BGAnimations\ScreenTitleMenu underlay.lua searches the filename "goldedit", so It read multiple matches because both goldedit (doubleres).png and goldeditglow (doubleres).png both start the same, thus it tries to match to both but cant decide which to use.

As a temp fix, I just renamed goldeditglow to glowgoldedit. At least it worked in my case for that screen, the other screens may be the same issue, don't know atm as I just got it recently and I love the progress so far!

The theme download link is broken. I'd love to download this theme since it looks really, really nice! Keep up the great work!
