Music gaming wise, KONAMI is showing DDR HP2, pop'n rhythm, Let's Party and Karaoke Revolution at gamescom in Cologne, Germany this year.

Not much mentioned in the KONAMI conference BEMANIwise. The only surprise is when they said that the PS3 and Xbox 360 DDRs will have 8 directional pads and will feature over 150 songs as DLC on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. All DDRs are scheduled for a fall release. pop'n music for the Wii was not shown.

Brief reminder, KONAMI's press conference will be on today at 3pm PST.

Some confirmations so far from bms @ E3 2009.

• K. Revolution also looks very clean, the graphics on the 360 version are quite good. The venues have customisable lighting and other features.
• Karaoke Revolution songs include 7 Things by Miley Cyrus, Do Ya Think I'm Sexy by Rod Stewart, and Gives You Hell by All American Rejects.
• So far it looks like DDR could be back to the 10 foot difficulty scale. Hard to judge based on the songlist.
• Fully customisable characters in Karaoke Revolution. You can also tag your favourites to make custom songlists.
• What Will Come Of Me is a 10 on EXPERT.
• Taking It To The Sky / U1 feat. Tammy S Hansen
• What Will Come Of Me / Black Rose Garden
• A Brighter Day / NAOKI feat. Alisha G
• KONAMI may have another music game announcement for tomorrow.
• The Wii version has a demo station with the balance board setup.

• PS2 DDR interface is basically X with new graphics, Wii is basically HP2. 360 and PS3 versions are not on display.
• New Black Rose Garden track and U1 feat. Tammy S Hansen track.
• DYNAMITE RAVE new version is on as well as a new NAOKI track.
• Some song confirmations include: Ice Ice Baby, Closer by Ne-Yo, Daft Punk Is Playing At My House, Disturbia, Dream On Dreamer by Brand New Heavies.
• The new DanceDanceRevolution is very colourful.

As stated above. KONAMI sued Harmonix last year in July and now Harmonix is suing KONAMI back for infringing on a patent that simulates real instruments.
