Opened December 12, 2024.The venue is unmistakably huge, spans two floors and a basement, and has a large LED sign marking its presence on the street. The closest stations are Granville Station and City Centre Station. From Granville Station's Granville Street exit, turn left and walk straight down Granville Street, crossing Georgia and Robson Street. From City Centre Station's Georgia Street exit, turn around and walk straight down Granville Street, crossing Robson Street. In both cases, the Rec Room will be on your right.
You must be 19 years of age or older with photo ID to enter the Rec Room. If you are under 19, you may be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian until 10pm. The venue participates in Vancouver's Barwatch program but only conducts more stringent security checks and scans ID's at night and on weekends.
Uses NFC wristbands and cards. Wristband prices are:
$3 for a Regular Band. Comes preloaded with 12 credits ($1.60-$3 value).
$6 for a Collector's Band. Comes preloaded with 14 credits ($1.92-$4.66 value).
Cards are free with the purchase of credits and do not come preloaded with any extra.
Standard credit top-up prices are (last updated 2025-01):
40 credits for $10 (4 credits per dollar)
160 credits for $25 (6.4 credits per dollar)
245 credits for $35 (7 credits per dollar)
365 credits for $50 (7.3 credits per dollar)
565 credits for $75 (7.5 credits per dollar)
790 credits for $100 (7.9 credits per dollar)
Rec Room credits are not cross-compatible with Cineplex Xscape credits.
All games are 50% off per play on Tuesdays.
Apart from arcade games, this location also offers billiards, darts, axe throwing, and mini-golf.
Three licensed restaurants are on the premises: The Palms (B1), Three10 (1F), and The Shed (2F). Check the website for the menus.

Death sentence for Pump, especially since there's no fans. I suppose they wanted me to get a glass of water from the bar, but that's a lot less convenient than a bottle...
