Arkad Amusement is a new arcade brand in Montréal, which opened in 2022 on St. Catherine Street Ouest. (The Est location was only open for a few months in 2023, before closing.) It is near the former Amusement 2000 Plus arcade, but on the opposite side of the street. The closest metro station is Lucien-L'Allier, which is a 7-minute walk away. Although Arkad is similar to the previous arcade, it has no washrooms and Wi-Fi.To my understanding, Arkad has an agreement with Player One Amusement Group or P1AG, formerly a Cineplex company.
Only Arkad cards work here. Pricing after tax is:
• $2 for 8 credits + new card ($2.30 after tax)
• $15 for 60 credits ($17.25 after tax, or $2.88/PIU)
• $30 for 200 credits ($34.50 after tax, or $1.73/PIU)
• $50 for 350 credits ($57.50 after tax, or $1.65/PIU)
• $75 for 560 credits ($86.23 after tax, or $1.54/PIU)
• $99 for 800 credits ($113.83 after tax, or $1.43/PIU)
• $169 for 1,400 credits ($194.31 after tax, or $1.39/PIU)
Pump It Up XX was from the former Playdium Mississauga. The machine has been replaced in 2025. The price was also lowered from 12 credits to 10 credits. The pricing on this page is valid as of July 2025.

1 year agookaeriIt didn't made enough revenue which sadly is fair but unfortunate. The machine is now located at Jurassique Golf et Amusements in Brossard.

3 years agoLABcrabThat is sad to hear. I hope that any problems are solved and that Arkad is safe to visit. During my visit last month, this employee was not present.
As far as the arcade games go, they look like fun, but they are pricey! I don't think it's fair to pay $3.45/game on Pump It Up. I suggest people buy at least 200 credits if they want to play at a decent price.
4 years agoSomeoneThe technician/owner working there sexually harassed friends of mine when they were alone. He has light brown skin and wears glasses. If anyone reading this as experienced this, I encourage you to file a police report, as we have.
