Claiming to be "the largest arcade on the east coast", the Lucky Snake arcade is located inside the Showboat Hotel's former casino floor along the Atlantic City boardwalk. They feature a mix of redemption games, racing games, old school classics, some rhythm games, and a selection of modern and retro pinball machines.All games operate using a Intercard game card. Current pricing is as follows:

Additional games at this property can be located inside the Island Waterpark at Showboat. Some of their games are located just outside the entrance to the waterpark, others are located inside the park's boardwalk section and cannot be played without purchasing admission to the waterpark itself. Game cards purchased at either location can be used for both Lucky Snake and Island Waterpark games.

1 year agoKoreanAmericanPump cab is sadly not quite as good as it used to be as P1 is noticeably more sunken than it used to be with misdrops, also P1 left blue has the pad slightly bending downwards lol -- SMX is also in worse shape, I thought considering there was a tourney the cab would be in better shape but it's essentially the same with an additional wobbly bar. Like the description for the game states, I would recommend enabling additional sensitivity if you can with an account. DDR is still completely down from when I left, not like it's even worth playing in the first place due to it's current state.

1 year agoKoreanAmericanJune update: Dance games were relocated to the mini golf / roller skating section. DDR is not working at all, Pump is back up, StepManiaX had it's card swiper disabled apparently due to a temporary wifi issue.
1 year agoS1ckH4ndsOn my most recent visit yesterday, April 24th 2024, all three of the dance games were turned off. Not sure of the reason. Not updating the listing as I'm hoping it was a temporary issue that's since been resolved, but will check again the next time (if) I'm back. Sadly more and more games continue to be removed out of the Pinball Gallerie retro room, and other games are just left in a perpetual state of disrepair and brokenness. I guess they're just pumping all their money into the waterpark right now.

2 years agojac238The swiper on DDR was still turned off but by some miracle, there was a credit on the machine and I got a game in. Can only speak for the P1 side but I see why it’s turned off, every pad except the down pad has issues reading inputs, with the right pad being the worst, I could only get it to work by stepping on the bottom part of the right pad. I’ll leave the status of the machine as is since the swiper is still turned off but hopefully this is fixed once the parts to fix the machine arrive

2 years agobloodclotI'd like to add that unfortunately the DDR is still non-functional. The right pad is missing a leg, the arrows are missing almost all their screws, and the card slot is errored out. I'm not sure why they are keeping the game on. It's on life support and they need to just pull the plug at this point.
