Information
Freeplay arcade as part of the Cains brewery venue group. 3 floors alongside a newer 'Level 4' extension to the middle floor. Ground floor contains mostly spectacle/redemption games like World's Largest PAC-MAN and Super Bikes 3, top floor contains mostly modern consoles and PCs. Middle floor is the largest and has most of the authentic cabs, and the extension has most of the rarer imports - card-compatible games listed on the site are all networked.Canteen is open on weekends - kids allowed until 9PM Mon-Thurs, or 6PM Fri-Sun. Open 7 days a week, with parking on the side of the building.

1 month agoTOPHERTHEPBI'd also like to add they do put a lot of work in the machines they just get broken a lot and parts are hard to find sometimes. I'm impressed by how quick they've got the hotd 2 working even if it's not perfect still.
1 month agoTOPHERTHEPBI know these are old comments but I was talking to the guy that does some of the tech work and apparently maimai was moved after somebody kicked the bottom in. They have Taiko out in the regular area so they have at least one Japanese game out. Poor Taiko :[ lol
6 months agoOni-91Given the state of the other machines having the good stuff kept behind an 18+ wall is pretty much a blessing in disguise.
1 year agoIspamObjectionVisited on 27th Dec 2024, turned up just after midday. I was charged £25 for an adult entry at peak times, I believe you can get a discount by pre-booking online so this might be worth considering.
As I was mainly looking to play Maimai after a considerable time away I went straight to the 18+ area so most of my experiences are related to this area, everything there seemed to be fairly well maintained with most of the machines being online and working smoothly, I can confirm this for Maimai, Chuni and Crossbeats.
Also had a cocktail bar, console set ups on big projector screens and TVs ranging from current gen consoles to Sega Megadrive and a few PCs set up in the 18+ floor.
Staff were friendly, good experience overall.

3 years agoDDRshaneVery unprofessional and poorly ran arcade who’s management just care about the money not the customers experience. Lying to customers isn’t a good look on the company, blocking them for directly saying the truth shows that they have no responsibility and hold no accountability. They don’t maintain cabs here and it’s just shit so just go to Arcade Club or Tenpin if you’re near.
3 years agodagainzManagement mentioned the Piu cab was online, but it was offline when we visited. When asked about it in their IG page, they deleted my posts and blocked my account. Definitively not a place I would step again.
3 years agoDJShoryuWent, a lot of problems I faced months ago are still present and not fixed, I don't believe that there's any tech here to fix these machines and it's a shame as it's a pretty good collection.
4 years agoDJShoryuWhen i went it was a Dancing Stage Fusion machine, not a Euromix 2 machine, will be heading again most likely in the next 2 weeks so i'll update this.
