2 years agokidburlaVisited 01-Dec-21 and got more details on the new machines added in the refurbishment. The arcade has been "upgraded" to a typical redemption arcade complete with ticket eaters and prize cabinet. I count 11 new machines, made up of 8 redemption machines, 1 simulator, 1 grabber and 1 pusher.
2 years agokidburlaVisited 30-Nov-21 and at least 9 new arcade machines have been added since my last visit. Will try to make a note of what they are on my next visit as I was in a bit of a rush today.
2 years agokidburlaVisited 18-Nov-21 and the arcade area has reopened following the refurbishment. All of the previous machines are still there but locations have significantly changed and there are big empty spaces which will presumably house the new machines when they arrive.
2 years agokidburlaVisited 15-Nov-21 and the entire arcade was closed, estimated to be for about a week, for refurbishment. Some machines were moved out of the arcade area and are still in operation: the Maxx Grab units and Jurassic Park. The staff said the reason for the refurbishment is to add more machines, including a new VR machine that's a bit like Typhoon.
2 years agokidburlaVisited 07-Oct-21 and both VR games (Mario Kart & Godzilla) have been totally dismantled. Spoke to staff and they said the VR games have been removed and are not coming back.
