This medium-sized arcade located at the top of the hill near the Talon roller coaster and Dodgem bumper cars is the only free-standing arcade left inside Dorney Park. Formerly home to a number of rhythm games including DDR Supernova, ITG2, and Guitar Hero Arcade, at the current moment this arcade now primarily contains redemption games with a small amount of rail shooters and racing games rounding it out. All the other arcades in the park have been repurposed, and you will not find any classic retro games, rhythm games, or anything else here. That being said, on a hot summer day, it's a great place to take a break from the crushing heat of the park, especially thanks to a nice, frosty industrial strength AC running at max output.All games operate using a game card system. You can purchase cards from kiosks located inside the building. The amounts available on the kiosk are as follows:
$25 - 110 credits (~22.7¢ per credit)
$40 - 190 credits (~21.1¢ per credit) + 250 redemption tickets
$50 - 230 credits (~21.7¢ per credit)
$75 - 360 credits (~20.8¢ per credit)
$120 - 600 credits (20¢ per credit)
$200 - 1000 credits (20¢ per credit) + 1000 redemption tickets + VIP game pricing (approx 10% off each game play)
You can additionally find some miscellaneous crane machines, prize redemption machines, and photobooths scattered around the park in various locations; these do not take game cards, they only accept credit/debit cards and NFC payment like Apple Pay and Google Pay. Hours vary by season. The hours listed below are current as of July 2023, but be sure to check the website for the most up-to-date info. In general, the park itself is open from mid-May through the end of October. Prior to Memorial Day and after Labor Day, they are on a weekends only schedule. During the September and October months, the arcade is converted into a haunted house called Blackout and all the games are removed to make room for a blacklight maze.

8 years agoNuVirusI have gotten confirmation from someone who went on a school trip recently that ITG3 is back!
12 years agoNuVirusThey probably did remove it...I went to Dorney Park in August 2010. But, why would they remove an ITG3 machine? Something like that would be very valuable to us players in the community. TBH, the whole time me and my family were there, I was in the arcade the whole time, and everybody else was in the Wildwater Kingdom area.
12 years agoRGTMI was in Dorney back in October and I did not see an ITG3. When did you find this? I think they might have removed it.
By the way, the reason I like to go here is not to play DDR or ITG. ROLLER COASTERS FTW
12 years agoNuVirusIt was in an arcade in the amusement park division. There was a DDR machine in that same arcade, though for some reason I can't remember whether it was a DDR Extreme, or a DDR Supernova machine. I already checked with DDR Freak, but since the site was JUST restored, all of the machine locations recorded in the site are gone. I have a video of me playing on the ITG3 machine, but I don't have a YouTube account.

12 years agoNuVirusDiscovering not an ITG2, but an ITG3 machine in Dorney Park was probably one of my luckiest finds ever. I dare say it might even be one of very few ITG3-themed machines in the Northeast. The P2 pads were the only problem, but the P1 pads were a lot better.
