It's been a very interesting life towarda alot of South Africans with this mix back in the good old days 😅Operation times had changed due to covid 19 so please take note of that.

Dance Dance Revolution 5thMIX (Japan) Comment: The cabinet's pad conditions are unacceptable for the player 1 side with the down arrow not being usable at all, Player 2 However provided a decent playable experience where one could pass intermediate charts quite easily, harder charts could pose a challenge as the pad sensors aren't as sharp as they could be. The Cabinet is a K-Cab with the original 5thMix Marquee still intact however the plexi glass holding the marquee is starting to show it's age significantly. The cabinet has been upgraded to make use of an Led Monitor for gameplay which is surprisingly responsive and larger than the original crt. The Cabinet's sound system is decent with the top speakers having been upgraded with 2way coaxial speakers which make the music and sfx pop even at low volume. The Bass Woofers also sound healthy providing a warm tone whilst playing at low volume. Lastly all the lights(Spotlights, BassNeons, selector button lamps and arrow lights) on this cabinet are inoperative which is sad to see especially considering how much of a complimentary experience they add to the overall game especially on the older mixes such as this one. I'll round it off buy saying that the cabinet deserves a well executed refurbishment process where all the lights, decals and and some of the bodywork is fixed in order to keep the cabinet functioning and looking decent. |
