How fast could you play on a C-mod and score well?
I can go to about 800, maybe a little over.

When it comes to regular speed, I can read up to x5, and then it all goes downhill.
So, whatever that would be in C-Mod, that's how fast I can read it.
However, I usually only use x2, and that is all I need. Even on fast songs, like bag and Be in my paradise.

I don't use C-Mods. I use 1.5x for everything.
EVERYTHING.
EVERYTHING.

It all depends on the song. Would you use x5 on Max 300? Would you use x2 on bag?

Speedy like a turtle :3?
I can read on x1.5 on most things...so up to 300 bpm overall.

Hence why I use x2 on most songs. It spreads out the notes so I can read them, as well as providing a decimal of challenge.
tl;dr No and yes.

I don't really deal with C-Mods, since in songs with changing BPM, the constant speed will throw me off. I usually use x1.5, x2, or x3, depending on the song. If you want a definitive number, about 400 BPM.

* When I played O2Jam I used to read at about 550 BPM.
* When I play Lunatic Rave 2 or IIDX AC, I read at 450 BPM.
* When I play IIDX CS styles with no green number (concerning Sudden+), I read at 525 BPM.
* When I play on IIDX CS styles with green number, I read at ~490 BPM, which is my default and favourite.
Green number is 300 btw

I can read around 600BPM on Feet, anything higher than that becomes difficult.
IIDX, I can read at 300 without HI-SPEEDs on and I can read anything from 250- at about HI-SPEED 2

Always on x1.0 regardless of BPM, except when necessary

Yeah, same here about DDR.On pop'n/IIDX, I tend to use HI-SPEEDs to make the BPM around 550~600.

I prefer around 600-800 BPM with xMods and Mini.

I don't use cmods much, but if I did...(detailed post yay)
DDR singles: 360 BPM no-bar is most comfortable, but I can read up to 420 or down to 60 without great losses in PA, so 1x Vivid is still fun for me. Got dat bag ~true style~. I also enjoy Boost occasionally at scrolling speeds of 270 or less.
DDR doubles: 270-300 BPM no-bar. Which usually means 1x or 1.5x. I can read things like Anti-Matter and New Decade on 1x, but it's not...ideal.
ITG singles: Hallway Accel, 360-420 BPM no-bar (less if hands), 480-560 with bar. Working on reading closer to 600 on non-gimmicky stuff so I can pass more 14's
ITG doubles: Hallway Accel, 270-330 BPM no-bar (less if hands).
Pump singles: 360-420 BPM no-bar (less if hands).
Pump doubles: 300-420 BPM no-bar (less if hands, or if I feel like it). Pump isn't too horrible to read until you go below 120-ish. You have to feel the notes anyway
Stepmania singles: Hallway Accel, 480-600 BPM, index (RCSG layout)
Stepmania doubles: Hallway Accel, 300-480 BPM, index (RCSGIMHL layout)

I never ever EVER use cmods. Here's what I do for SM, ITG and DDR.
120bpm and back - 3x or higher
120-155bpm - 2-3x
155-270 - 1.5x-2x
270 and up - 1.5x or lower
I use hallway on ITG when necessary. (i.e. all the time)
Sometimes, for the hell of it, when I play DDR at the arcade, I like to go 1x flat on really slow songs.

DDR: 400-ish
ITG: 450 maybe a bit more
Keyboard - 625
I've always been weird with hallway. I've never really liked it. Then again any kind of mod such as reverse makes my brain panic and fail songs at epic proportions. As for c-mods, there are some great songs with what I believe to be annoying speed gimmicks. I suppose i'm on that primary layer of playing where I only want to be challenged by the steps, not optical obstructions.

I can read on 1x all the way up to 700, then I start to lose track of notes.

On the keyboard, I can read pretty much read all the way up to between 700 and 750 bpm. I have read charts going at 800 bpm, but I do notice myself hitting the notes with more of a jolt reflex (which actually gives me better timing, but tends to give me random Greats here and there).
On the pad, my ability to read notes is almost half that. I can read up to about 450 BPM comfortably and anything above starts to get more awkward.
