"Who says that!!" |
Okay, since this sub-forum is not so actively viewed right now and it had been almost 4 months of no posts here, so I'm going to give out this thread to all of you who get used to play PC games not only with PS3, X360, and so forth.
Here are my PC Desktop specifications:
Processor: AMD Athlon X2 2.70 GHz
RAM: 2.00 GB DDR3 RAM
GPU (Graphics Card simply): NVIDIA GeForce 9400GT 1024 MB VRAM
HDD: 230 GB
OS: Windows XP Professional
Post your PC specs. No bragging of specs right here, okay?! We just want to share our own desktop and not all of us can afford to purchase a very high-end gaming desktop.

Sony VAIO E Series (S/N: VPCEA36FA)
Processor: Intel i5 560M Processor 2.66 GHz (Turbo Boost up to 3.20 GHz)
GPU: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 (2733 MB)
Display: 1366x768 (14 inch)**
RAM: 4GB RAM DDR3**
HDD: 500 GB
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Sound: Realtek High Definition Audio
*According to dxdiag
** Dug up a VAIO brochure that I got. My unit looks just like the one in the brochure (as well as in local stores), but they come equipped with an i3 2.53 GHz processor, 320 GB HDD, Intel HD Graphics and Windows 7 Home Basic 64-bit. I guess mine's a souped-up version not yet available here.
P.S. I have Evernote for VAIO installed. Something I won't use, yet is wanted by lots of VAIO owners who use Evernote.

I'm sorry for the bump, but i'm SO excited to of found this type of thread.
I have a heavily modified HP HPE-400f Desktop PC:
OS: Windows Vista Business x64
CPU: AMD Phenom II 945 Quad-Core @ 3.0 GHz (stock)
RAM: 16GB DDR3-10600 (4x4GB)
STORAGE: OCZ Vertex 3 SSD 120GB (primary), 1TB 7200RPM HD (secondary)
GPU: ATi RADEON HD6670 (uprgraded from an HD5450)
SOUND CARD: Asus Xonar DX 7.1
SPEAKERS: GoGroove BassPULSE 2.1 system (with Blue LEDs), 2nd Pair of stereo satellite speakers.
OPTICAL DRIVE: DVD-Burner, 2nd Bay empty
PSU: Thermaltake 550W Power Supply (upgraded from the 300W stock PSU)
FANS: replaced back stock system fan with a Blue LED lit one, added Red LED side fan, added PCI-slot exhaust Blue-LED lit fan.
EXTRAS: Added SATA III-PCIe Adapter card for Vertex 3 support (my mobo only supports native SATA II ), added LED light strip along the top-inside panel.
Here are some Pics of my customized rig:
It's insanely cluttered inside, as I only have a mid-tower.
See where the Red LED fan is? That's where my 1TB Hard Drive used to be before I took it out. Now the HD is encased in my NexStar3 HD enclosure.
My main inspiration of customizing my PC came from my subscripiton of MaximumPC magazine.

With $800 I made a computer with 8 gigs of ram, 1tb memory, 2.7 quad core processor. Also put 3 turbo fan's and a 1 gig videocard Raydeon or Nvidea w/e. The awesome thing about this I over clock my computer's speed to double it's productivity and get the full effects of my memory and processor.
