Turns out it is a different application to DDR S, though it doesn't show up in iTunes for me.

its interesting though because this is the same app as the free lite version. they are definitely playing with the App Store system since there were tons of people who grabbed the free version, now the app store tells them that there is an update yet you have to pay 99c for it. then once everyone pays they also have only a few songs, but DLC at $2 to 3 bucks lol.

It's rather laggy, hopefully they will fix this soon in an update but other then that it looks slightly better then S, There is a new banner for A Gieshas Dream by the way

This is really cool; the background clouds change depending on the time of day. I played in the morning, and it was a bright sunny sky. Now, at 5:48PM, it's a lovely red dusk sky. Last night it was a gorgeous deep twilight.
Just thought I'd point it out. It's a nice touch.
What's less cool is how the banner cards don't display long titles.

Hmm...A similar thing is being implemented on the PS3 with regards to the stages. Seems like a neat idea.

A Geisha's Dream (Ruffage Remix) in DDR S has literally some of the worst steps ever seen in a DDR song. They have to change it if they include it, it's not even worth playing once as it stands.

Yep, a complete, lazy copy/paste of the original song's excellent step chart. Except some idiot didn't realize that, hey, this is a different song and these steps are clearly going to nothing!
So, in my step chart rating book, -50 for lazy copy/paste, -49 for not even making an attempt to adapt the steps to the new song, for an overall score of 1/100. If you want to play those steps where they were supposed to go, just play the original.
I guess I was a little harsh, but geez, thinking about what they could have done, and what they did, I can't believe they did that.
