"On ZiV I'm like Princess Diana" |
Although MAX.(Period)'s banner was found on the SuperNOVA HDD including some other CS songs that didn't make it (Only other one I can think of off the top of my head is more deep)

Which is a damn shame because that song (more deep) is badass.

Dancing Stage Unleashed's licences.
Right, it's odd. There are three songs that use 12ths: Call Me, Size of a Cow and Nu Flow. Of them, Sive of a Cow and Nu Flow are bloody AWFULLY charted using 8ths and 16ths instead of 12ths (honestly, instead of using 12ths, Nu Flow has a bit that goes LULRLULRLULRLULR in 16ths. At 148bpm. In a 7'.) Yet, Call Me is all done in proper 12ths (or as close as they can get on the Xbox). Why's that?

Rap Freaks is a cancelled game in the Bemani line. Tomosuke Funaki acted as sound director for the title. Location tests were held in 1999, the most prominent showing being at Konami's AM Showcase. Few details are known as much of the location test data was lost.

There is actually far more information on this at the Japanese wiki:
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAP_FREAKS
As well as an archive.org backup of some more of the info. from Konami's old site.

/me just trying to share obscure titles with people that may not otherwise have heard of them.

Rap Freaks
Turned into Pocket Pool Fortunes!.. Which was terrible.
Rap Freaks sounded terrible as well, though. I don't know what you can really compare it to? Maybe Gitaroo Man?

There were once rumors of a Beatmania Seareus CS style coming out, but they were brushed aside for some better revolutionary titles like a Voltex game...
