I'm probably in the future go for a basic gaming desktop that can play on medium settings at 1920x1080.

Not sure, but I think a 550 Ti/6870 is good enough if you're gonna play all games at medium settings. Also, too bad HDD prices raised .

The only thing I didn't list is the display, but I may do this on my Sharp AQUOS 42" LED HDTV with extension USB cables, which is the reason I didn't list it. Also, the $119 hard drive is actually a Solid-State Drive.
