In the land of overmarketed garbage TV, what slice of heaven do you take out of current listings?
I'm pretty much in for the "Bang Your Mother" block on CBS Mondays, and NCIS/The Mentalist on Tuesdays. I DVR Sons of Anarchy, too.

FOX Tuesday: House and Fringe. The only thing I'll watch on TV besides the news.

Most of the stuff on TV these days are rather trash. I usually stick to the movie channels and SportsCenter. If I'm not watching TV, I'm watching anime on my computer.

I guess I'll have to agree on the 'TV sucks' principle, seeing as I don't have cable or satellite and the only real thing that my 21" in the master bedroom is used for are the PS2, PS3, GC and...that's about it.
Right now the most recent thing I've been watching is Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi (aka Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple). Slightly slow start but hilarious as heck and not too terrible over-shounen for those that are out there to see something of a martial-arts-slash-comedy type of animé.

You like History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi? Then watch Bamboo Blade. It's similar to Kenichi, except with Kendo. It's a surprisingly funny anime. I might go back and finish watching Kenichi (had to put it on DVD to send my laptop for repairs at one point).Post #7 · Posted at 2008-11-23 01:36:51pm 15.8 years ago

Bamboo Blade? I'll have to add that. I was told to look for Gintama after that one so I might have to put that on hold until that one's done.

Gintama...100+ episodes strong, and growing...Why did I have to rip that from a Flintstones Vitamins commercial?Post #9 · Posted at 2008-11-23 02:46:17pm 15.8 years ago

I second this statement, although I've never seen Kannagi. Looks like I'll add that to my list.Kannagi
