TRINITY VOID
Trinity Void is my original concept of a Dance Dance Revolution extra stage system. The concept of Trinity Void is based on three keys in a trinity that is required to unlock a void, which contains an evil that needs to be relinquished once and for all. Before the keys are engaged, they need to be primed by a trinity of their own.
Here is how the system works:
To unlock the first part Trinity Void, one must full combo three songs with a grade of AA or higher. Once the objective is achieved, you can access one of the three keys.
An individual key contains three primers, which consist of decently difficult songs with a difficulty range of 14-15. You must clear all three primer songs in Extra Stages to access the key (difficulty range of 16-17), which will be played in an Encore Extra Stage. Once passing one of the primers, it cannot be played again. Failure to clear one of the primers resets the process. It doesn’t matter if you clear two primers; if you fail the third, you must start over. If you pass the EES, the key is primed, and you may not access the key again unless a future situation occurs, which will be explained later. If you fail the EES, you may get a second chance to clear it by passing any of the three primers. If you pass the EES the second time, the key is primed. If you fail, the priming process is reset, and you must start over again. Do this process for all three keys. This is a tedious process, but it must be done.
Once all three keys are primed, the second part of Trinity Void is ready to be accessed. To access this, one must SDG three songs. Once the objective is achieved, the fun part begins.
Now, the keys that you played as EES’s are now ES’s. You must clear all three keys in individual ES’s to unlock the void. Once one of the keys is set, it cannot be played again. Failure to pass one of the keys puts you in a pickle. The key becomes infected. To disinfect the key, you have to play one of the primer songs in ES, pass it, and play the key song in EES and pass it. Failure to do so will unprime the key. You must re-prime the key. No worries, though. For example, if you set two keys, and the one key must be primed, the other two keys will still be set. All that is needed is the repriming of the key. Once all keys are set, the void is unlocked, and the evil will be unleashed for you to kill it. The final song will be played in the Encore Extra Stage (difficulty 18). If you fail the EES, the keys are still primed, but they are no longer set. Set the keys again to unlock the void. If you pass the EES, you win.
That's my little idea that's been floating in my head for a couple of days.

Very interesting. I like it.
Sounds like it's a total nightmare to get all the way through it though, haha.

That's kind of the point. It's meant to be a nightmare.

It's like Dance Master Mode in reverse.

One compaint I have though is that it seems that once "The Void" is accessed, you have to play the songs that were EESs again as ESs. This could be kind of repetitive and tedious when you're unlocking the songs.

I like this concept. But, I wonder what songs would be in there. I won't expect much of CS songs, BEMANI crossovers or Revivals, but just about anything that fits to the concept (depending on which theme it is as well.)

Well, if you do one using charts, and the other using ones...
I could see how that's possible, even using X2's tracks:
-KIMONOvPRINCESS
-roppongiEVOLVED
-Pluto The First You know... if it weren't shit-on-a-stick maybe...
=> Anti-Matter
-aftershock!!
-888
-deltaMAX
=> New Decade
-Sakura Sunrise
-Shiny World
-Pierce The Sky
=> POSSESSION
then
-Anti-Matter
-New Decade
-POSSESSION
=> Valkyrie Dimension
...not a bad system, actually.
