Alright so WinDEU was kind enough to release his latest ITG course in its original state however it requires modification to the metrics.ini file. I got a crack at it myself and can't get it running properly. I am using the groove 2.2 theme and Stepmania 3.95 with no luck. Maybe I installed the scripts wrong, but wither way I cant seem to get it running.
You can download the course here...
http://www.mediafire.com/?ti2otweu91bskt2
If you can get it running let me know what stepmania/openITG build you are using as well as theme. It would be nice to let others know what you did to get it running, or you can just post the Metrics.ini for your theme here.
I am going to take another crack at it tonight, but if anyone else can actually get it working let me/everyone else know!
EDIT: If you want to get WinDEU Hates you The Movie up and running immediately with little modification simply download this theme...
http://jeffrey1790.com/Themes/ITG2%20GOLD.rar
and install it into OpenITG.
Then download these metrics.ini and replace it with the metrics.ini in the ITG2 Gold theme folder...
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5ZXBQ9Y8
*Special thanks to Bolt-Edge for sharing his Metrics.ini!
You will still need to put the why2.lua into the proper folder as well as the songs and course files into the correct places but the hard part has been done for you.

firstly, do yourself a favour and DELETE groove 2.2 and get the proper ITG2 theme data from d4.zip to work from.
note, since you're on 3.95 you may have to get the noteskin fix (all red/scrolling edges)

Where can I download that (the theme and fix)? I dont think it really matters either way because Groove 2.2 mimics ITG PC I believe. I think I will just download ITG GOLD or some other hacked ITG theme. Either way I think when I wrote the new stuff into the Metrics.ini file I wrote them in wrong.
For example I did this...
LifeP1OnCommand=Whatever is here normally
//LifeP1OnCommand=@GetLifeBarEffectsP1()
I did that wrong didn't I?

Why don't you guys use OpenITG?
Also... I think it's -suppose- to crash on stage 4.

I'd use open ITG but it sounds really quite dodgy, and I've never been clear on how to use it. SM 3.9 with cel and note arrow skins has always worked for me
That's not to say I don't wish 4.0/5.0 would come out. But meh.

maybe later. I think like the 4 or 5 SM installations I have now will do.
As for the course, BAWWW I failed multiple times and despite dl'ing 3.95, the
PlayerP1OnCommand=@GetPlayerEffectsP1()
PlayerP2OnCommand=@GetPlayerEffectsP2()
metrics were nowhere in the mess of a metrics file I had (mind you they weren't in any other build's metrics either)
I'm assuming this might be why my mods were broken. Unless of course stage 6 is supposed to only be played solo singles but even then a few mods didn't turn on at all.
Also, is it SUPPOSED to be 6 different files played individually or am I just that noob at doing stuff that isn't opening stepmania 3.9 and playing a song?
sigh.
I want this course at the arcade regardless, it's pretty god damn legendary.

"The top two lines, "PlayerP1OnCommand" and "PlayerP2OnCommand", might not be present. If not then this is okay, just copy the two lines in full, into [ScreenGamePlay]."
"The other four lines will already have values, I recommend commenting out the current lines and pasting the new ones in (comment a line by inserting "//" before the line), instead of outright replacing them."

Alright I made some progress.
All my stages work now once I switched to ITG2 GOLD and OpenITG.
What is wrong now is...
-Life bar is now horizontal and gets in the way of the arrows.
-The course does load a single course, but many...
instead of being just WinDEU Hates You The Movie its lists like this...
Stage 1
Stage 2
Stage 3
and so on and so fourth. Is it because the course files are separated into 6 course files instead of one and its supposed to be played like that?
Bolt-Edge, can you just upload your metrics.ini file? I will put it in the first post along with a download link for ITG2 Gold and give you credit for it.

the reason its separate stages is because it was designed for that custom theme where theres an option for "scene selection"
ill upload metrics later

Ah, I thought as much but wasn't sure since his last theme was made into a whole course.
Alright thanks.

well I got the whole thing working by adding those last two lines... however, it seems that his final mod 'riding the x axis' can ONLY be played on a CRT monitor or an lcd with an awesome refresh rate. It starts tearing the screen on my lcd withoout vsync enabled.

The alternative would be to use vsync, but then you'll get a drift. So it's either tear something fierce or have sync issues and still risk tearing.
Ouch.
I'll vsync later and report back.
Ok couple more issues - vsync'ing fixes the tearing, but can change your timing depending on the quality of your monitor. You might have to change global offset to compensate.
Also, exiting and then reentering the same course song seems to screw up the modifiers, making them come into effect (in my case) far earlier than they should have done. On stage 6, it was fine until the skewed targets started, then they stopped early, then started stretching and skewing which should have come far later on.
hm.
