It depends on what the scholar wants to accomplish. To be honest, I'd probably choose A, Public Schools, because it increases the diversity exposed to students and focuses said students on more than one subject, both of which can be very important later on in life.
Also, this site really needs a poll system.

Went to public school for high school. Way too many academically challenged people there to say it was successful.
Based on elementary school, private school means small class sizes and small class sizes means if one person doesn't like you, their friends (essentially the rest of the class) don't like you either. And they play too many sports.
Home schooling sounds nice, but then you lose the diversity, social interaction among kids, and reliable curriculum.
Egh, boarding school sounds about as bad as regular school except you're stuck there.
LOL school sounds like it contributes to bad grammar.
... gonna go Old School, I guess. I feel old and my elementary school at least taught me my math and grammar. xP
And if it has to be the same "school" as what Max posted, then owning someone's guts in a video game teaches more about life than, say, the Pythagorean theorem to me. xP

Public school. It's the perfect preperation method for children being released into the real world. It either turns them into complete fucktards, strippers, drug addicts, alcoholics, bullies, criminals, or into eggheads, or turns them into pessimistic bastards by letting the previous categories minus eggheads or maybe including depends on where you go bully them into hating people and life in general.
Private school sounds about the same but it seems to leave people's high hopes intact.
hah. But no seriously, screw private school. Friend told me of his time at a 20k a term one, it sounded ridiculously stupid, just with more expensive drugs than those people did at my school.
Noting that I'm not a people, so I never did drugs.
