Hey guys, just wanted people to get some feedback if you've visited this location.
I have a meeting with the manager to discuss and more than likely fix issues with machines, however I want proof that things need to improve. For anything to happen, I need peoples feedback on the experiences you've had with the music games located at this venue.
As an added bonus we could be seeing Technika 3 coming to this located. Fingers crossed.

The Fiesta EX they have there has no working USB connectors and both pads need to not be shit. :V
Technika 2 is still at it's base installation and needs to be updated for ID card play and the rest of the songs.

Flip the image horizontally and rotate it 90 degrees clockwise. Now you can see P2 side's stuck arrow too.Post #5 · Posted at 2012-03-30 05:19:27am 12.4 years ago

I should be able to get the Technika 2 online, Gabino who sold them the upgrade kit is going to be with me on the day.
I am mainly there to fix DDRX2 pads, if I can find a Dell Optiplex in time the DDRX2 sync should be fixed too.

X2 is still bad, and I am not paying out of my own pocket for something they won't fix.
All the other cabinets are good from what I've heard.

Yeah that's absolutely fair enough and I wouldn't have expected you to aha, just such a shame at the owners lack of care.

It's not just 'lack of care' on LV's part - X and X2 cabs are generally high maintenance because, when the sensors soften after being broken in they eventually tend to trigger under the weight of the panel itself (as far as I know). If you've ever seen the insides of one of these pads you'll understand the specifics of what I'm referring to.
LV is worth a trip purely for Pro 2 however.

Visited the other day.
I played Pro 2, it was really really fun! The pads weren't the best in the world, but we're not talking bundles of pad misses. Just that a couple of the panels should've taken a little less pressure to get going.
Still, if you can aim for quads on there, it ain't so bad!

Was great seeing you there
Still waiting on something to happen with the SuperNova, and X2 is pretty unplayable score-wise, but all the other games are in great enough working order

If I had the money to spare, I'd get the correct Optiplex for X2 so it will run correctly, the sensor issue can be corrected like how it was fixed at Manchester.
Whats up with the SuperNOVA?

I know that S34n was interested in running the supernova as an ITG Convert cab. And he had been given the goahead for that, so I'm pretty sure it's down so he can upgrade.

I'm actually kinda inclined to agree, and I'm the worst when it comes to supporting ITG over DDR..
It's rare you get to legitimately claim to AA properly, 3 times in a row anymore, let alone go for AAAs in this country.
I'd rather only convert terrible StepMania cabs to oITG.
