Server Load: Use the Unix command "uptime", if your server is not running Unix then can't help you there.
Database Load: How many queries are currently running, percentage out of 25.
Processes Load: How many processes are currently running, percentage out of 25.

i see... not as straightfoward as i had hoped (hoped there would be some system-info commands or something in php/mysql that handle these things) but it still helped me, thanks ![Smile](../emoticons/icon_smile.gif)
