Also, it'd be nice to have a few songs with less feminine moves
There'd better be a "Mosh Mosh Revolution" mode/song section so I can headbang to some Motorhead and score marks for waving a fist in the air in time with the music.

For the record, I didn't coin the term, it's from an olde Megatokyo webcomic (jesus, it's almost 9 years old now):

Just don't break the machine with a killer finishing move.

In case you want a version of the page that is easier on the eyes than the E3 one linked by Pie-kun on p1: http://www.konami.com/games/dancemasters/
(It's exactly the same info though, just bigger font and black-on-white text)

So...I'd be lying if I said this might just be the game that puts Just Dance on it's ass, but damn, it looks like a beauty. WANT.

Looks interesting. Those character designs are awfully similar to the early DDR 2009 trailer.

If I had a 360, I'd get this game regardless of how good it is just for the dances alone. This is also kind of weird as my friends and I had started making actual choreography to DDR songs not too long ago. We're almost done with un deux trois, Mikeneko Rock, and Heaven is a '57 Metallic Gray.

I'm skeptical on this. Indeed, this is truly a dancing game as oppose to stepping on arrows, but I'm so used to DDR over this. It looks fun for a lot of people though but I wouldn't get an Xbox 360 and the Kinect for this.
If the dance routine for A Geisha's Dream involves bowing on the floor, expect yourself extending your arms sideways if Saber Wing happens to appear as a song.

I expect more than a few of you are on Naoki's Facebook and have seen this, but for the benefit of those that aren't, Naoki posted:
DanceMasters is a game you can play music to suit a variety of genres.
For example, Latin, African, and R & B, HIPHOP, and EUROBEAT, TRANCE ...
and We will not only make the Japanese dance style that was uniquely Japanese PARAPARA to dance too. Please think of one character only.
This game is the future we aim to dance in various dance world! !
NAOKI MAEDA
I think he was trying to emphasise that this won't just be ParaPara Paradise 3rdMIX.

This looks like Just Dance except there's some kind of structure to it and you don't just get points for arbitrarily flailing your arms about. This could be good.

Looks fun as hell. Man, I want this game now simply because the dances they showed look fun and the control scheme appears to work rather well, rather than Just Dance's arbitrary point system. However, it's good that people noticed Just Dance's success, as now others are refining the formula and adding more to it.
God I need a 360.
