This may have already been answered but I forgot how to do this. How can you select when a song ends while editing a simfile? For example, in Healing Vision (Angelic Mix), I want the "Cleared" sign to appear after the heartbeats are done instead of during the heartbeats.

What I did is silently put a mine a measure before the file is supposed to end on a chart no one will open/play (like couple edit?).
This works in my 3.9. waiei bypasses this completely, idk what they did.

you probably should put that in the non-Edit chart
I found this when playing my Theory of Eternity edit.
in my Edit chart, the end of song have a longer hold note than the one in Expert/Challenge, and when I play it, the Cleared sign (and also the Full Combo splashes lol) appears right before the hold note ends
so that explains it

Doesn't seem to fix for me. Any other methods? The reason why I want this fixed is because I have to wait for 10 seconds after a song ends just to see the "Cleared" word appear.

well if your problem is that the Cleared word appear long after it's supposed to, you better check thoroughly whether the SM file has any extra/unwanted charts, check the charts end points. Afterwards just delete the DWI file, the OLD files, then either "reload from disk" from editor or go to options and Reload Songs/Courses. Disable Fast Load too.
This happened to me too once, I did all that, and if it really didn't cut it, try clearing the cache.
idk what to do if it still goes wrong after this.
