From the looks of this game, it seems like we are going to make dubstep :v
I kid, but very weird controller. It's like an upside-down IIDX with no turntable and two "effects dials" from what this gameplay pic looks like...and i can assume that the current loc test has it to where no video can be taken of this new game? Would love to see how it pans out, but why would i care? This doesn't seem like it would hit off in the States like jubeat tried to do with UBeat :/

Oh hai, new BEMANI game I will only see in picture and video form! You look fun! Goodbye, BEMANI game I will never see here! Have a nice, exclusive and successful run in Japan!

that whole post used to whine about how he never get games olo
Then why did you even bother reading and posting that?
Pic related, my face when I work for Konami and SOUND VORTEX BOOTH (AC) (North America) is now never going to happen because of you. This isn't true. In B4 gullible noobs.

Just because I'm in disdain over it not coming, doesn't mean I'm not extremely interested in it, and excited for it. Part of the reason for my disdain is knowing I have little more than a snowball's chance to play the game at all, due to Konami's unwillingness to export anything other than DDR.
I would love to play it, and I know I'm not alone, but I know Konami will likely never bring it over, for whatever reason.

Okay, just so everyone knows, whatever TyTigeriku says is concrete. SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH in the U.S./not Asia will never happen. Praise the lord!Don't say that. You never know what KONAMI thinks. Maybe one day it could happen, after all, there have been some DanceDanceRevolution X2 machines popping up. Also, remember jukebeat and Ubeat? KONAMI could try... I think it's because they think that it wouldn't appeal to audiences in different areas. How would you feel if DanceDanceRevolution/BEMANI was never released outside of Asia? Heck, we all probably wouldn't even be here...

I didn't say it wasn't going to happen. I said it was likely it wasn't, based on Konami's previous behavior with International BEMANI outside of DDR. Yes, location tests are big steps in getting over here, but time and time again, nothing's come from them on a large-scale level.
Yes, it can happen. There's a definite possibility that it will make it over here and become popular. If it does, then I can safely state that yes, I was wrong, and happily so. But there is precedent behind these kinds of situations, and short of Konami coming out and outright stating this is releasing internationally come hell or high water, there isn't a whole lot to change that.
It isn't the lack in faith that Konami won't bring it over, it's the history that time and time again, nothing comes out of the attempts.

If that would happen, it would be really awesome.
Are they trying to find a successor for the beatmania series?

The mock-up's style resembled that of Guitar Hero/Rock Band/"insert game where notes move towards player". But it does seem like
a successor/off-shoot of the beatmania/IIDX series.

Maybe xac will make a remix for this. After all, he's still only done one song.

MAX 300 takamatt MIM Remix / takamatt
DDR II Boss song.
Calling it now.
Topic: I dislike the knobs. It will be destroyed in a month. Just imagine all the turning and horseplay going to happen. Seems very fragile to me.
And that SN2-like banner is just *cringes*.

Just like STM200.
It would be nice if they could invite outside artists again like Kozo Nakamura (from EX2) and Daisuke Asakura (from SN2).

I see that SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH has great potential as new BEMANI game, I feel that I will feel that I'm playing real synthesizer. KONAMI had done a good job to develop a new way of playing rythm games, although I think with the appearance of the knobs it will be a little harder than other BEMANI games.
I can't wait to see the cabinet. Personally, I think the cabinet match perfectly if it's similar to MOZARC's (although I never played MOZARC before).
