You won't see the old maniac step in the expert step in later mixes, thus, to avoid confusion. We are basing it to the latest trend.

Moving the 5th Mix Maniac steps to Challenge isn't right if this simfile is going to 5th Mix. If this song is going to be in 5th Mix, then the original Maniac steps have to be in , and the updated steps have to go to . That's how the new Maniac steps added to classic songs in 4th Mix Plus were treated. The original Maniac steps were restored to , while the updated ones were moved to or removed altogether.

Why not? for non-DDR 4thMIX PLUS original steps, they will be moved to too. I wonder what will happen if KONAMI decides to put those X-Special steps (nvm KAKUMEI) on later updates.

yeah i meant if you're doing that for 4thMIX plus, why not do the same for this (and others in case it happens to other AC songs)? i believe there are people who need the old steps

You are actually seeing this simfile inside DDR 5thMIX.
As to not let everyone draw confusion, I will put the 5thMIX charts in the slot, **only in this case**.
Edit: Done.

i mean, razorblade mentioned that songs that got new maniac charts (in 4thMIX PLUS), the new maniac charts are merged (and placed in the challenge slot) with the original simfile entry where it first appeared. but why isn't it the case with this simfile?

Thanks for the same flow "Silverhwake", that's what I pointing out. Some people here make violent reaction first rather than making any nice comments.

I know you have noticed already that those old songs that got new expert charts in DDR 4thMIX PLUS are removed, but they were transferred to the series that got their first appearance, and the new expert charts were moved to the challenge steps.
What I mean is you are late to know the reason for the current simfiles for some previous series. It's not really nice to see duplicates with updated steps between series. FYI.
They were replaced with official data, so anything from DDRUK are gone. This is z-i-v, not DDRUK.

i'm not that late cos i know since i'm a member and contributors in DDRUK. I'm just worrying that the old Maniac for this song will be gone forever.

Stop it, dancervic. You obviously don't know and understand what's going on with the current official simfile updates. Don't you wonder why nobody aside from you does what you are doing since the major updates months ago? You're late already.

oh no, the MANIAC steps are from "DDR EXTREME" not in "DDR 5thMIX"
for me, i put them like this..
SINGLE/DOUBLE EXPERT - DDR 5thMIX MANIAC
SUNGLE/DOUBLE CHALLENGE - DDR EXTREME MANIAC
cos i don't want any duplications

The banner below was used in DDR 5th mix. The above banner was used for DDR extreme, supernova 1, supernova 2, and X 1.
