How to play RandomMovies without the simfile background banner?

I noticed that during the very beginning of each song, the simfile's background banner will always show. Once I hit my first step is when my RandomMovie will begin to show until the last step. Then the background banner to the simfile shows again before the stage ends. Is there a way for me to change a piece of code so that the RandomMovie is always playing in the background without the banner showing at all?

Are you using StepMania 5? I use SM5 and play with random backgrounds on and I don't see the background at the beginning of the song at all. Still not sure how to remove it at the ending of the song.

If you are using SM 5.0.12, download and install SM 5.1 beta 1... then open _fallback theme's metric.ini , look for RandomBGEndsAtLastBeat and change value to false. This will play the RandomBG from the beginning until the end of game play.

This metric is also available back to at least SM 5.0.10 (and later), if you want to keep using 5.0.12.

If that so, you may also want to update it in [Background] for the RandomBG to start immediately:
RandomBGStartBeat=-1000
RandomBGChangeMeasures=4
RandomBGChangesWhenBPMChangesAtMeasureStart=true
