Help! My DDR A Theme won't import to StepMania!

I know this isn't Benami related, but i need SERIOUS help with StepMania! My DDR A Theme will not import and i wanna get that DDR Arcade taste, how do i fix this? i don't wanna be stuck with that default theme! Help!!!

1) Is the theme you’re using for stepmania up to date and actually working?
2) Is your stepmania version compatible with the theme?
3) Did you actually put the theme in the corresponding themes folder in your stepmania directory?

In your StepMania folder:

StepMania 5\Themes\[DDR A Theme]

Is there just one folder, or several folders?

"Several Folders" would look something like this.

Multiple.

Still does not work. it worked before but now i can't add it back... QAQ

Nope. It starts StepMania fine but without the theme imported.

Go to Options > Display Options > Apperance Options and go to the Theme section where it lists your current theme and hopefully the DDR A theme. Switch it to the DDR A and you should be all set.

If you extracted a theme into a folder, thats the reason.

For example.

If you extracted a folder named "DDR Supernova" into a folder named "DDR Supernova", then thats the problem.

Yes, i did. It was tjhe only way it would come up ni game at the themes. Is it because I'm suppose to download it as a different file type?

No, extract the file to C:/Games/Stepmania 5/Themes instead of C:/Games/Stepmania 5/Themes/DDR Supernova

that is exactly what's in my themes folder I also did it like this last time on a different pc and it worked fine. but last time i got someone elses DDRA theme i think.
