As a thing though I was completely fine with that until the LRLRLRLR crossovers. I've only been in a position to start playing doubles edits on stepmaniax recently and i've been staggered by the sort of patterns you can get away with at speed providing you're facing the right way.
Moonlight Shadow - Maniac Double: Ah crap I've got 5 minutes till this needs to be finished and I just deleted all the 16ths that make this chart flow correctly. I'll just put back in the gallops and ship it and hope nobody notices...

You know what I do have an excuse for?
I was told to not hold back when making a chart for this song, so I did just that, and I made the boss eat his words. What we ended up putting out is a much much nerfed version of the real thing.
Oh wait a minute - I see an accidental freeze arrow in one of the jumps! Oh, I guess I'll leave it there since it was meant to be an awful chart anyway.
