Not sure if this is the right place to be asking this
I've been working on some custom step charts from DDR official simfiles and have slowed the bpm in the middle of the song, and now the song is ending later than I'd like for it to. There is only one chart (challenge). I've reloaded the song, reloaded SM, moved the song to a new folder, made new charts and re-deleted them for the other difficulties. Is there a setting to have a custom ending note/time? Or is there another fix I haven't tried? Thanks in advance

Have you checked if it has double/solo charts etc ? If you’re making an edit and you e changed the bpm and it’s still ending late that’s probably what it is, have a look in the sm or ssc files themselves in notepad and elete every chart that isn’t yours if so then reload the whole song as you did

You should set your timing mode to steps timing (press t key in SM5 editor) and make timing changes for that difficulty you are editing. In steps timing mode, sm file saved after are now useless because steps timing are loaded and saved in ssc files.

Ah I'd totally forgotten to delete the doubles charts! This fixed my problem, thanks so much!
