Hey all,
I'm creating a happy hardcore mix and I'm looking for some bangers. Bemani games are a hotbed for this stuff, but my rhythm gsm music knowledge only reaches into DDR and Taiko and I'm not too familiar with other rhythm game soundtracks in comparison (except for some songs that multiple games share and some Sound Voltex stuff). Can anyone suggest me some good songs/game soundtracks to look into?

Most beatmania IIDX soundtracks have some happy hardcore music in them. The artists you primarily want to look for in those albums are either Ryu☆ or P*Light. Jun also does some Happy Hardcore stuff.

DDR 3rd Mix, 4th Mix, 5th Mix, MAX, SOLO 2000, and EXTREME are all great choices.
