I noticed a DDR A machine appeared in Europe recently! Is there any more info on DDR A machines in Europe? Like any Locations getting it or that already have it. I know that there is one in Manchester.
Is this like a test location or something? Because I read somewhere that it was meant to be coming out in Europe in Spring 2018 (I think).

The one in Manchester is the one that was in the trade show recently. Full release isn't due until Spring though, so I guess it's a one-off for now until release happens.

Yeah, there was a loc. test for it in 2016 for about three months in London.
Sadly with an asking price like that I can't see many places wanting to opt in, but I wouldn't mind being pleasantly surprised.

I will actually cry if my local arcade goes for an upgrade (if they even do decide to get A) because the machine is in such appalling condition and has speed mod/sync issues.

As far as I know, upgrade kits are not being offered. Either they buy the new white cab or don't get DDR A at all.

As far as I know, there are no A cabs in the US that are upgrades, they are all the white ones, so I would be surprised if EU had an upgrade option.

Hopefully. I haven't ever played on an X2 upgrade but from what I've heard they are bad. Luckily my town has a dedicab. Still awful but not the worst. How much are A cabs anyway? doubt any locations near me will get it then. they got X and X2 near launch but I don't think they were brand new cabinets as they were rather beat up looking. (speaker grills rusted, marquee and screen scratched.) Gonna be nice having to deal with that speed mod bug on X2 for another couple of decades.
Also, is there any news on the state of e-amuse? I hope Konami sort it out.
