Hello friends, I've been busy those months due to real life situations and that is why I have been absent, this time I will share my port of Mungyodance3 theme for SM5, this first version wanna recreate the original game, and a pair of customizable items, it will have some updates later to add some features.
Some shots if anyone doesn't know or haven't played MGD3:

Wow, so is this theme also hit-or-miss only, with every 50 combo and every hold giving you a +1 life?

That's pretty cool! On a side note, I've always wanted to tell Renard that "Speed" and "Acceleration" are two related but different things. The arrows don't boost

And that's the problem, haha. Acceleration measures a change in speed per unit of time, and unless you're using boost, it should technically be zero as long as the song itself isn't changing BPMs.

Loved this game lol great job on porting the theme over 
Also there is a bug with the life meter its supposed to be like 70 or something when you play non-extra songs at aleast from what i've heard tbh

Most of that songs are courses, I will have to calculate the lives analyzing the radar values, specially the amount of freezes, I've left at 1 for testing purposes. As far as I can remember, the regular songs have like 30 lives and courses and some special songs are defined by level or course batteries. I will have to play it to check the behavior and implement a nearest system, or let it to be specified as a theme option. And balance a bit the difficulty, but with one battery is nice to play

Like kenny have said that was added from the first release, use menu up/down buttons to change the speeds, or enable the song options screen

I Might make a simulation of MGD3 cause I literally just figured out how to extract the game data so basically I got the songs (the one from the game not the simfile version at all) they come with the background videos as well and the .md extension is just .sm. I also gotten the courses as well.

I’d like to help update this theme. There are some things I noticed that need some fixing.
-Life behavior works but there are a few things off with it. 1 thing is lives beyond 100. Once you reach 100, the freeze arrows roll off and require you to get 50 combo with any set of arrows to prevent cheesing.
-2 player mode needs separate life counters.
-Center Player 1 should be on by default.
-It’s possible to mash the keys for a full combo in MGD3. How to replicate in StepMania 5 may require judgement changes.
-Extra Mode needs extra work
-Auto Life defaults to 1 life every time.
Here’s what I’ve been able to fix:
-Center Player 1 life numbers now center. No longer to the left side of the screen.
-Combo is now Beneath arrows
-Fixed 4:3 graphic for song selection
-Added music into Evaluation screen that was missing
Still need to fix the menu lag, add the MGD3 noteskin to the main theme and fix some graphics.
PS: sorry for bumping a 2 year old thread, but I quite like this theme and want help update it to reflect the original game.

If its an update thats fine. where would the packs be at and does it follow the same gimmicks MG had?

There are packs on this site, but there are also several files missing or inaccessible through normal means.
I plan on including a more complete package with all the assets needed in the near future.
Mines don't add random attacks yet, but I believe that is in option that can be toggled in StepMania 5.0.12.
