品 TECHNICAL SHOWCASE 3 品
Technical Showcase 3 is an adjudicated simfile contest for StepMania / In The Groove.
The focus of this contest is technical pad charts, such as you would find in modern timing tournaments.
Round 1 is now open! Submission packages consist of two single-difficulty simfiles without graphics.

By 10s - 12s, you mean the ITG scale, right?

I think the rule forbidding graphics is because this competition is only focused on the stepcharts themselves- I've noticed it's a common trend in r21freak's contests. (Also, certain users have different graphic-making capabilities/styles, so allowing graphics could hint at some of the file-makers' identities.)

Yeah, ITG scale, and nezemarth's spot on regarding why graphics aren't allowed.
In a related note thank god they aren't allowed because I'm pretty sure I could throw paint at a wall and make better gfx than what I submit for my charts. lol
Needless to say I'm gonna be back in action here, hopefully I don't throw in the finals again.

Further clarification on use of graphics:
You cannot use your own custom-made graphics. However, you can use the specialized TS3 graphics (made by yours truly 😉), which can be found in the Download page of the website.

Yes indeed, thank you for hosting Telperion!
Like I said in my submission emails, dealing with this many files has got to be a huge commitment and I really appreciate the time you and the judges took; this and showcase 2 have been great learning experiences for me.
Here's to a TS4 someday, hopefully. (For now you guys deserve breaks though ;p)
