"Working On: 5thMix BGA bgchanges"
Hi all,

Got a head scratcher here. I would like to give an actor it's own X/Y values that aren't effected by the frame's position. Not sure if it's possible but if I could do that, it would save on a lot of repeated code for doing the same thing.

It's for a character select screen. I've got it so each characters icons are displayed beside each other, but I want to use the code that changes highlighted character to show the next 3D character model.

It works if I have the model code within the ActorFrame but the model keeps moving along with each icon, instead of how I'd like it, being in the one spot.

Hope someone can help me out, if I've not explained it very clearly, please feel free to ask me to clarify anything you'd need to know.

Thanks in advance.

Set the frame's xy position in it's own Init/On/WhatevetCommand and then give the actor you want to move it's own xy value. The actor's xy value will go off of whatever you set on the frame.

i.e.
Frame: xy,SCREEN_CENTER_X,SCREEN_CENTER_Y
Actor: xy,-20,40

would result in the actor being placed at
xy,SCREEN_CENTER_X-20,SCREEN_CENTER_X+40

Yeah, I figured that would be the case, I was hoping that you could somehow remove the frame's values and give an actor within the frame it's own values separate to the frames.

Thanks for clarifying for me though.
